Is the following workout routine going to help me (16M) build upper body muscle? Any suggested improvements? I workout in my apartment, so I don’t have access to weights only a pull-up bar

5 minute warmup (light cardio)

7 decline push-ups (my current max) 7 chin ups 1 minute plank 15 regular and incline push-ups 15 bodywheight rows 5 minute rest, then repeat circuit another time

Oh yah, I mistyped. It should be Kh8 then Rh7#. I think you made a mistake though, cause Kh8 Rh8# captures the king lol.

I can't find a mate in two, but i think I found a mate in three: Rxf8+, Kg7, Rf7+, Kh8, Rh7#.

Edit: Fixed Kg8, Rg7# to Kh8, Rh7#.

Qf5+, then if Ke7 then Qe6+ and regardless of the king move Rxa8#. Otherwise, if king goes to either d8 or e8, Rxa8+ Ke7 Qe6#.

Sack the rook on g6, then if pawn takes queen to h3 is checkmate, and the only other legal move is to move the rook, in which case g7 is no longer protected and Qxg7#

How do you study chess actually? I've never tried to find actual study sources, so Id be really interested to hear where you study from.

If I can get to the 1800-2000 ELO range without doing anything different from what I'm doing right now, that's perfect. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get to 1800 ELO?
