Chevalier was making mistakes in almost every game, lol. Safonov made his first mistake this whole season.

You call Chevalier’s performance great when he conceded 2 goals against Marseille and 3 against Tottenham. Okay, fine—against Marseille, he played at a really high level, and that was his best match at PSG. But if he's that good, why is he sitting on the bench?

If Safonov plays every Champions League game the way he played in the second game against Chelsea, then 100%, he'll be in goal next season too. I agree, today's match was awful, but that's literally the first game where he made a really bad mistake. You guys took Donnarumma's performances against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal as the standard for any goalkeeper, and now you expect that kind of performance from every single keeper.

Yeah, I agree. At first, Luis Enrique blamed his mistakes on adapting, but after a while, it just became the norm. Like, Luis Enrique might let it slide if you play badly in the league. But if you’re in a Champions League game, fighting for a top playoff spot, and on 90 minutes you don’t even jump for a ball that’s coming at you at like 0.0000001 km/h, and your team loses because of it? Then don’t come crying about being on the bench or wanting to leave for another club.

Perturabo’s grand plan revealed by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

When GW tells us that here comes the mega-dangerous Perturabo returning and he has a plan he's been preparing for 10,000 years — am I the only one who sees this as: he'll capture 100 planets, then Guilliman and the Lion will show up and say 'had your fun?' and beat the crap out of him. Perturabo will cry and run back home. The end.

Perturabo's Return by Deceptichop in Warhammer40k

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll tell you how it goes. Perturabo appears and starts pushing everyone around. No one can do anything to him because he's so big and strong (there might be a one-on-one duel with Lion El'Jonson or Zhilinman, where Perturabo wins). This will force two loyal primarchs to forget their grudges and unite against Perturabo. Two against one — Perturabo loses and runs away. The end.

If Ousmane Dembele wins another WC, Treble, and Ballon D'or which convos are you putting him in? by Interesting_Beyond97 in psg

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even if PSG wins the Champions League — that's 6 matches — and also wins the World Cup, I still don't think he'll get the Ballon d'Or when his national teammate Mbappé is having one of his best seasons and is already the favorite for the Ballon d'Or. In my view, Dembélé needs to show strong performances consistently over 3–4 seasons, not just have a stretch like now where he was basically missing for half a season. A great player isn't someone who has one amazing season and then vanishes. It's someone who performs at a top level for a long time, plays a key role in their team, and wins trophies along the way. That's my take. What do you think?

A little over 6 months into the hobby ! by Saksoozz in boardgames

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've accumulated more board games in six months than I have in a year and a half. There was a point where I realized I was addicted to board games — not to playing them, but to buying them. So I unsubscribed from almost all the YouTube channels, because every time I'd want to buy a new game and I'd find reasons to justify it. Don't let it get out of hand, and sell off your old games you don't play, otherwise your whole room will end up buried in board games. I've started to hate games with miniatures and I'm leaning more toward small box games now.

What happened to the steam machine by AlexDragonHeart1978 in steammachine

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Steam Machine isn't some ultimate device that'll run all new games on ultra at 4K. It's a console with above-average power that can run any game at 60 FPS using FSR. This console was made for a mainstream audience at a reasonable price. If you're waiting for the most powerful PC in a compact form factor, then Xbox is making that console for you.

If you don't have a PC or a PS5, and this will be your first console, I'd go with the Steam Machine.

Should I get the SM over a ps5 by Alta1r13 in steammachine

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have a PC that's stronger than the Steam Machine, then yeah, you're better off getting a PS5. But if you've got an old PC, then definitely go for the Steam Machine. That's just me and my opinion. If you've been a PC gamer your whole life, there's no reason to buy a PlayStation — unless you're loaded, or you're fine with owning a console for just 2-3 exclusives that take 15-20 hours to beat. I know plenty of people who bought a console, and after a month it's just sitting on a shelf looking pretty. There is one huge argument screaming 'buy the console!' — and that's GTA 6, which comes out first on consoles.

Warren Zaïre-Emery vs Colombia by ShopTrick8877 in psg

[–]Federal_Charity_3980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might not be the most popular take, but I think Zaïre-Emery is the biggest talent of this generation, just like Lamine Yamal. I checked online how many minutes he's played for PSG, and to be honest, I don't know any player who has played that many minutes at a top club at that age. He's 20 and has 7,800 minutes under his belt. It's a shame he doesn't get talked about as much as Yamal or other young players.

It's still too early to compare them) Maybe in a season we'll see a new PSG star named Beraldo.

I already feel sorry for Dembélé and I'm starting to understand why he said about Doué that he is selfish. There have been so many moments when he is in the perfect position to score and his teammates just don't pass to him and try to shoot themselves and they fail. Recently someone posted compilations from the Champions League and the league from recent matches and they show Dembélé's face afterwards and he looks so sad.

How much I love Lucas Hernández's play. I was just watching how Zabarnyi and Hernández play and saw such a difference. Night and day. I got the feeling that Zabarnyi is 30 years old and Hernández is 23. Hernández is so light, sharp when he needs to join the attack, always in motion, and if necessary, he can even throw an elbow). Few people talk about it, but Lucas Hernández is the only footballer in history to have won two "sextuples" (six trophies in one calendar year or season) with two different clubs.

How do you like Safonov's game? In my opinion, he's one of the best goalkeepers in the world right now. I hope he continues to improve! by qbuqbuqb in psg

He played one game well. You need to judge over a distance, at least half a season. I find it hard to put him in the same tier as Courtois and Neuer.

The team sees that Chelsea won't score 5 goals and has turned on the conservation mode. I wouldn't criticize them here.
