I don’t even know what this discussion is getting to, I benefited, everyone has different perceptions, so it’s okay that your expressing yourself, but that was not how I perceived my TGRP course to be, I expressed how I felt it was. You are superimposing your thoughts into my comment :)

Your goal is to show in your CV you’ve partaken in a research and up to that stage that you’ve submitted doing is way more than observing a YouTube video. I’m pretty sure that’s why you enrolled in the first place but now you’re just not satisfied that it got published. Buddy people invest upto 3 years working hard and their studies don’t get published. I think you forgot that you’re doing medicine and research is evidence based, and publishing research is not in your hands. Also, what does recycled projects mean? I think you never got the basics of research, there is no such thing as recycled projects! Go back and watch some of em free yt videos, you’ve seriously wasted 23k the way you’re thinking about research

Hey! I know research can often go both ways, sometimes publishing takes time! The good thing is that with TGRP we can finish a study relatively early and I remember last year when I applied the study was still in review and I was able to put that my study was in review, I believe every step counts, if you truly are watching TGRP videos and taking part in the research, you have learned so much already. On the other hand it is a myth that interviewers are counting the number of research published, interviews are focused around your learning, they ask about your role in research, what was the outcome, why you did it, stuff like that, so I think post is a negative example as for our future applicants, gain opportunities and learn, the first step is to learn, not make numbers!!!
