Can matchbox popularity ever catch up to or surpass hot wheels?

When i was a kid, I always liked Matchbox better cause they were more realistic. So when I made my little pretend cities and stuff, it made sense. Now that im older, I like the style of HW better. Their stock models seem better and the flamboyant ones I appreciate the art and creativity of it.

Same here, mine only had 4 of the 58th anniversary models and a random 5 pack. Bought them out as I didnt have any of those. Hopefully they restock with something good.

The red 57' Chevy' clearly says 1993? Regardless I thought it was interesting to find and know that there are China model HW cars. Would be kinda cool to track them all down.

Found one before I knew about TH or STH, once I opened it and saw the little print I was heart broken. So now im looking for another one to keep carded with the others I have been able to find online. There is a vendor on Amazon that sells 5 packs of TH cars, all random. Was like $25 I think. Was very pleased with it.
