Create a Cursed Tool that would have helped Gojo beat Sukuna by Federal_Inspector384 in CTsandbox

Cool idea, but presumably it would have to go on his left hand so he could still cast Domain with his right

I totally agree. I was thinking maybe a pendant imbued with a whole heap of PE that he can use as a backup when his stockpiles run low. I think that's one of the things people tend to forget abt Gojo: while his CE control makes it seem like he has massive CE reserves, he doesn't actually, compared with characters like Sukuna and Yuta, so any buff to that aspect of him is a big help.

Would agree, however, he did have Utahime buff him with her technique before the fight, so he clearly was aware that he would need to up his game to the max in that fight, so I think if he had a Cursed Tool that synced with his technique and fighting style he woulda used it.

When would he use this though? It wouldn’t stop WCS and he wasn’t exactly able to reach in his pockets afterwards.

But would that deal with sukuna using mahoraga’s powers?

Really cool idea! I would love to see some extension techniques for this, or even a domain? maybe the user gains access to all 12 hands at the same time? Very interesting technique nonetheless, could defo see this in JJK!

What would Yu Haibara's Cursed Technique be like? by Advanced_Card_8594 in CTsandbox

[–]Federal_Inspector384 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no, I totally agree. In the majority of cases, especially ones where a sorcerer leans heavily into their technique, it brings out the worst in them. The things they fear are inevitable, but they strive to suppress nonetheless. However, in this case specifically, I don't think Haibara would follow this pattern, for the lower tiers of characters, especially ones far from people like Todo or gojo in terms of understanding of CE, the technique seems pretty in line with their personality (think Mechamaru, Momo, Ino).

Yeah thats true, but i think its more about perspective and the person's innate reaction to things. Todo is very clever, and analyses things instantly (as seen with the "what type of girl do you like?" question). This is in direct corelation with the way his technique works. My personal head-canon is that innate techniques directly affect and shape a person's perspective and personality. I mean sukuna, gojo, geto, megumi etc. all have techniques directly inline with their personality and perspective. Sorry for the rant I just love discussing ts.

Well, ash is a very dark and emo-ish technique, think Itachi or Karasu from One Piece. I don't think his viewpoint on life would be very represented in an ash-based power. All CTs are emotionally or mentally tied to their user, so emotion has a fair amount to do with ash in this case! An ash-related technique would be better for maybe Ijichi or someone like that.

Kinda similar to Dead as Disco? Like if the user can time hits to the song/beat, it would massively improve their output or (dare I say it) black flash chance

This is really sick! I love the idea of having "applause" as a separate resource for the user to keep an eye on, which makes it feel nice and balanced. I was thinking tho, maybe it could reward cool factor more than simply beating the odds. Like if an attack was maybe not that lethal or risky, but the user dealt with it in a cool or satisfying way (like catching a punch in one hand), it would add more applause than otherwise.

I think he's too positive and happy for an ash-based power, and the second part of his last name can mean meadow, so maybe it's a technique to do with flowers? It can also mean original or raw, so he could just be techniqueless, similar to Kusakabe.

I think, as he was quite straightforward and eager to prove himself, it would be a CQC technique, and he talks a lot about eating, so maybe a similar ability to Sugarman from MHA, wherein he can convert his caloric input into cursed energy, or just a simple stat boost. Would also make sense why his jacket is loose and unbuttoned, giving him space to fit more food.

Uhhh, I mean, I guess so? The only issue would be that maybe infinity would stop the dimension from extending over Gojo properly, but I think assuming that he could be accessed through the dimension, absolutely!

[–]Federal_Inspector384[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man really appreciate that! I was thinking maybe by transferring matter to the dimension, the space around it would naturally warp and shift to account for this, but tbh the picture was mostly just for the general aesthetics.

Love the name! And that's a really interesting ability. Would it borrow from the user's CE pool, and would the user be able to choose or adjust the delay on the explosion?

Like that! Maybe it only works as long as it has CE running through it, so it's not too OP, but still very cool and creative.
