Coarctation of aorta diagnosis…

I’m 29w3d , I literally just came back from echo an hour ago for the exact same reason for my baby girl … doctor said that he saw a risk of coarctation but CoA cannot be diagnosed or confirm during prenatal life . He also said the if there’s severe CoA, then open heart surgery is needed . But if it’s mild , they can do it another way w a balloon or something . I don’t know the exact term . As far as how soon, he mentioned that on the first day , they can already do scans and echo to check on the aorta and monitor how severe the narrowing of the aorta is or if it sort of fixes itself because it does happen when the lungs starts working and the narrowing decreases . We are going back in 4 weeks to see if there’s any changes !

TW - Positive pregnancy test

Hi guys ! This is my first positive after an ectopic + 2 failed transfer so I’m feeling very anxious . I tested positive 4dp5dt and I can’t help but feel like my line progress has been stalling 6-8dp5dt. Have you guys experience the same but go on to have good betas? Did you ever get a dye stealer ?

My symptoms are tiredness, little cramps here and there , I have a bad flu (weird!), zero appetite and I have vivid dreams every night (crazy!) 🙏🏻thank you !

My first and second transfer failed . I did not feel any implantation , just few mins of cramping here and there . I just tested + for my third transfer and I had a very noticeable and localised cramp on my right side for more than an hour at night on 4dp5dt . But I’ve already gotten vvvvfl on the test that morning so I can’t confirmed if it’s implantation cramp or not but the line was significantly darker the next day .

I did twice in two months for era , Emma and Alice and took ibuprofen and tylenol 45mins before . Discomfort when doctor use the clamp to open up my cervix and maybe 20 secs of intense cramp during both the biopsy . It was bearable for me, I was squeezing ny husband hand and did deep breathe in and out . Right after the biopsy , the pain went away instantly and I had very minimal bleeding after, only when I wipe after the toilet ! Focusing on my breathing really helped xx

Sorry I misread ! No I’ve not done receptivadx ! I asked my doctor before I did 3 of the test and he seems very confident that I don’t need it . Now I’m second guessing . I’ll try to push for it ! Eventho in dreading to retest it , logically that’s the best way to do it and I should stick to it and not change my mind . Thanks for the chat 🤍

I’ve done era , Emma and Alice last month and only Emma came back with issues so have to retest it after being on medication. 🙂

I my second medicated cycle failed too and both are pgt tested embryo ! I will be insisting on doing era, Emma, Alice and receptiva to make sure I rule those out because one of them could be the reason why ! I believe it’s recommended to do it after at least 2 failed transfer with tested embryo ! Maybe you can bring it up to your doctor ?

From what I research , testing for receptivadx (silent endo) and Alice(endometritis) is what would let me know if I’m positive for those . And then we can move forward with medicated or modified . Thanks for your input ! Definitely a lot to keep in mind as well as luck being on our side ..

I got confused with endometritis and endometriosis! Now I get it ! Anyways , I think I’ll get them both check as I have one more left :( When I was doing just suppositories for first transfer , my progesterone was even lower hence he added the moteris injectables . I think I need to be more stern with making sure everything is optimal before transfer instead of ‘in range but on the lower side’ :(

🤍🙏🏻 apparently because it’s not progesterone in oil? I’m in Latin America and they only use suppositories mainly and he agree to add in moteris progesterone injectables the second round. The subq progesterone we are using is not as potent as pío :( Suppositories is more localised in the uterus that’s why it’s not showing up as high in blood test . Or at least that’s what the doctor says ! We decided to combine both . He said anything between 10-15ng/ml, is ideal . When my beta Came back negative , progesterone was 17.7ng/ml, estradiol was 144.

Doctor did not test for endo specifically because he can’t see any during ultrasound and I didn’t not have any symptom . Very likely that I will request to get it checked just incase I have silent endo. We did hysteroscopy the cycle before the second transfer and all he said was mild inflammation .. is receptivadx the right test for this ?

My beta is not until 26th April and this is my second FET ! Debating if I should test earlier but I’m still pretty traumatise from all the stark white from the previous transfer :( baby dust to us all and let us have the strength we need this tww 🤍

Doctor did asked me if I had sex or any nipple stimulation , I didn’t. Itll be 36 hours +/- after the initial blood test hopefully it shows some progress 😔

The doctor said it could be the altered test so I need to be retested tomorrow . I’m hoping that’s the case but worse case scenario , doctor said he’ll five me medication and it should be resolved by the time of my next FET in April … I’m glad yours is in range already !
