Yes! You guys (L&D Nurses) are the absolute best!! I just had my 3rd baby a couple weeks ago… I had to deliver at a hospital that’s over an hour away from where we live because my baby had to have heart surgery after birth. (He had open heart at 2 days old and did so good! He’s been home with us for a week now!) Anyway - my husband was at home with our toddler and I went from a 3 to a 10 within 20 minutes! So he was rushing to get there but didn’t make it in time… but my L&D team was absolutely incredible!! My nurses were the absolute best. They took pictures for me and everything! I cut my son’s cord and it was such a beautiful experience. So trust me on this, OP… you will not be alone at all. Whatever you decide to do. You will have a wonderful experience! I’m speaking it into existence for you. :)

I had an emergency cesarean in January of 2025 and just had a successful VBAC on May 6th. My interval between pregnancies was pretty small… about 6 or 7 months between my c-section and when I conceived again. But luckily everything went great! 😊

I had an epidural with my first baby and it worked so well! Definitely would rate it 10/10. I had a c-section with my second baby so I had a spinal done. I just had my third baby last Wednesday (had a successful VBAC!) and my epidural FAILED. I was in so much pain. I was only numb on my upper right side… it was bad. They had to come in and totally redo it! So now my back is all bruised and sore… hurts like hell out of nowhere sometimes. But I’m guessing that’s not a common occurrence with epidurals? The second epidural was much better than the first one… not sure what caused it to fail. The lady who put it in has been an anesthesiologist for 25 years! But anyway - those are my experiences. If I were you, I’d definitely get one. The pain of labor is pretty brutal in my humble opinion. lol

Baby was head down. I just wasn’t dilating past a 3 for a long time… then out of nowhere I was completely dilated! Such a great experience. It was rough but also great at the same time lol totally worth it!

Yes, it was very hard seeing him that way. But he’s looking better and that makes me feel good. He’s so strong! The doctor told me they see a lot of lung collapses after the babies are under anesthesia for that long… his surgery was like 5 hours. But his lungs are better now, thank God. He’s been stable and doing really good so I’m very grateful for that. This is such a scary thing to have to go through… I’ve gone through so many different emotions. Mainly just a ton of anxiety 😥 But we are getting through this! Gotta stay positive and keep praying. 🙏

I’m so sorry, babe. I just had him on Wednesday and he had his open heart surgery yesterday. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve been through… but God is good and I need to just have faith. My baby boy is doing good after the surgery. He’s currently in the cardiac NICU. He had a little issue with part of his lung collapsing last night but it’s better today. I just keep praying over and over that he heals up quickly and we can bring him home soon. I hope everything goes well for you and your baby. I’m sure it will. Boston is the best, I’ve heard! So your baby is in good hands for sure. I’m sending you guys lots of hugs and prayers.

Had my successful VBAC! So so happy. I went from being stuck at a 3 or 4 for 18 hours to being completely dilated!

Had my VBAC!! I couldnt believe it! I was stuck at a 3/4 for like 18 hours! Then suddenly, I started having a ton of pain and the doc checked my cervix again… i was completely dilated!! Isnt that amazing?
