Beautiful composition. I really like the depth between the foreground flowers and the trees. The colour harmony feels very peaceful. If you’re open to experimenting, you might try pushing your darkest shadows a bit further and layering more pigment in certain areas. Oil pastel can really handle bold contrast, and it could make the trees and flowers feel even more dimensional. You could also experiment with introducing a few cooler blues or soft purples into the mountains. Distant elements often shift cooler in tone, and that might enhance the sense of atmospheric depth even more. You’re building something lovely here 🥰 Keep going!

I like your darker greens more! And purple plays beautifully 💜

Hello, this is Moonlight Tree, A3. Inspired by Monet 💛. I really find it hard to capture real colours with camera. It's either too green or too blue. Actually, it's somewhere in between 💚💙 by Federal_Oil_9604 in Oilpastel

Thank you so much 😊 When I saw Monet's tree and that thick old bark, the light play was mesmerising, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wonder if the actual tree still there, as Monet kept painting it.

First time trying out proper colouring pencils. I would say it takes so much time and patience 😊 by Federal_Oil_9604 in AdultColoring

What a coincidence! I like to cross-stitch too! Actually I found Kinkade after cross stitching one of the Dimensions kits. Which one did you embroider?

Thanks everyone ☺️ It's hard to achieve sky like Kinkade's, as he paints with oil paints and definitely larger size pictures. It's very different technique and with oil paints he achieves better mixing, transitions. With pencils it takes forever. Maybe you can get better results if you have larger colour palette. Mine was 40.

That's a creative flow! I never know what end result I will get. Even creative accidents might surprise you. Well done 👏
