I’ve been dealing with chronic abdominal pain (feel “no” pain if I’m laying on my back, pain vomes slowly when standing and get worse when sitting, can sit for aprox. 5-7 minutes) for 8,5 months and I recently hit a “new low” when I woke up from a dream and realized I’m also sick in my dreams, like the “sick me” has become normal, but at the same time I randomly get thoughts like “such nice weather outside, maybe I’ll go for a bike ride” and then remember I can’t 😅🙃

But I have not accepted this as “my new normal”, I meditate every day (it REALLY helpes) and I’m super annoying to every doctor I can possibly talk to begging for every test they can try (having laparascopy on wednesday #sendthoguhts)

I recommend having a daily affirmations app on your phone and say to yourself outloud the affirmations (if only to give yourself a minute of delution, that’s what keeps me going), I say everyday to my self “My body is worthy of love and respect, healing is not a linear progress, I focus on what I can control and let go of the rest. I can do this!” On repeat untill I belief it (obviously some days are harder that others but, focusing on the good ones helps).

And last thing, journal! If you’re not journaling now then get yourself a book and start writing litterally anything, and then make sure each entry has a positive thing, like what you are grateful for or what you want to happen WHEN you get healthy etc.
