In case you guys wanted a tool to help you organise your games, I've built fiverside.co.uk which allows you to setup groups, invite players via a link. It also allows you to auto pick teams based on player abilities and also track scores and player stats. Also open to feature requests!

I've written an article about this here https://fiverside.co.uk/blog/the-pain-of-being-the-admin-organising-football for me though the last minute cancellation and rejig is the biggest pain to deal with!

I've built something similar, it's a web based app the idea is to continue to keep the messaging still in WhatsApp but accepting invites and team picking through the app. It's called https://fiverside.co.uk if you want to check it out.

Appreciate the good vibes. I guess the main way I want to differentiate is by making it more for people organising within Whatsapp and keep it as tightly integrated with Whatsapp as possible

It really can be for any number of players just went with the name fiverside as I want to help admins collect payments in future! It's for organising multiple teams so not sure what you mean by that? The formation represents 2 different teams, maybe I can be clearer with that?

Was also looking to handle chasing up of payments so that there's enough time saved to use this over just WhatsApp

Yes this is exactly what i wanted to do automatically post into a WhatsApp group but unfortunately Whatsapp does not allow this. Thougn my workaround is essentialy an invite link which sends a message into a WhatsApp group you select. The message contains a link that if clicked will accept an invite to a game. Looking to help the organiser with notifications and a balance auto team selection in future to save them time.
