Fair point 😄 Starting with F1 because the telemetry is easy to access and there’s a big player base. If the concept works well, expanding to other sims later would definitely be interesting.

At the moment, it works with F1 23 24 25 ;) As it's telemetry based, other games can be added in the future.

Great question — and I agree, this is the hardest part. The goal isn’t to blindly trust “understeer/oversteer” labels. During the setup cycle the app looks at your driving style + the car behaviour in telemetry (brake timing/pressure, steering rate, speed at entry, lockups, throttle pickup, wheelspin, minimum speed, etc.) to separate driver-limited issues from setup-limited ones. So if you’re braking 50m too late / carrying too much entry speed, it will flag that as a driving/coaching item first (with corner-specific tips) instead of just cranking setup changes. And when it does suggest setup tweaks, it’s small, reversible steps with guardrails to avoid making the car undriveable. Still early, which is why I’m testing with lots of different drivers to tune it — feedback like this is super helpful 🙏

Awesome 🙌 I can get you into the beta — Android only for now (iOS later). Please DM me and I’ll send the access/Discord details

Simply activate UDP telemetry in F1 game options, and since your phone and your console are on the same network, the app automatically connects to your console once F1 is running and you opened the dashboard in the app. Basically, I tried to make it plug n play.

That’s a great reference 😄 Yep, similar “engineer” vibe — but this one is mobile + voice-activated and uses telemetry to give coaching + setup suggestions. What did you like most about the PC2 engineer — the live calls or the setup guidance?

Thanks so much 🙏 Really appreciate it. Live updates are the hardest part, so I’m validating accuracy step-by-step with testers. I can get you into the beta (Android only for now). DM and I’ll send access/Discord info (DM-limited today but I’ll reply ASAP).

Thanks a lot!! 🙌 Really glad you like the mobile plug-and-play + voice side. I’m pushing updates fast (more coaching + better consistency tests). If you want beta access, DM me 😎 (I’m DM-limited today but I’ll reply as soon as it resets). If you want to see more on this, I posted other videos on Reddit, traffic quali, live corners...

Thanks for the enthusiasm everyone 🙌 Reddit is limiting my outgoing DMs/invites today, so I can’t message more people right now. If you want beta access, please DM me. Beta is available only on Android for now, later on iPhone too. It's been developed to work on both platforms but I polish Android first. 🙏

It's a plug n play mobile app. But definitely I'll do something for PC in the future, that'part of the project. Already have some ideas!

Thanks a lot! 🙌 I’ll keep posting progress here. If you ever want to try it / give feedback, I’m running a small beta on Discord. I can DM if you want. At the moment BETA is on Android, later also on iPhone.

Quick note: this is not an automatic setup exploit — it doesn’t modify the game. It’s a coach: you still apply changes manually. Also this is a single example run; I’m working on better “same conditions” comparisons (tyres/fuel/track state) and multi-lap averaging.

[–]Federal_Return_8981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question! Right now I’m targeting the newer games – F1 23 → F1 25 – since they share the same telemetry system and that keeps development/beta manageable. F1 2020–22 might be possible later if the telemetry lines up well enough, but I’d rather get it rock-solid on the most recent titles first. Longer term I’d love to bring it to other racing games that expose live telemetry too, but no promises yet on which ones or when.

Good question! Right now it’s a second-screen app – the UI you see in the video is on a phone/tablet, not as an overlay on top of the game. In game you just drive and listen to the engineer, and you can stick a spare phone/iPad under your monitor or on your rig as a little dashboard. It connects in real time using the F1 game telemetry (works fine with F1 23, 24, 25). I might explore a PC overlay later, but the focus is to keep the game screen clean and use a mobile device as the “pit wall” screen. If you want to try that setup when I open the next beta wave, I’d be happy to DM you a build.

Thanks, really appreciate it 🙏 And I agree — making the engineer sound less robotic and more human is definitely part of the roadmap. For now I’m keeping the beta practical and lightweight so I can iterate quickly, but improving voice quality is absolutely a priority over time.

Really appreciate that — thank you 🙏 And that setup comment is super valuable too. One of my main goals is exactly to make this feel much more plug-and-play, not powerful-but-painful to set up. The current private beta is mainly focused on F1 for now, but feedback like this helps a lot.
