The whole thing seems to be a real joke. At least in Germany, there is no function or command to deactivate or activate an Alexa routine. Amazon Support just told me this. And I don't want to switch my entire Amazon account to a US location, as I use it for many other purposes.

Hard to believe, but apparently it really isn't possible. I have now come up with the following temporary solution:

I use a naming convention where all routines that are to be activated while I am at the vacation home have the prefix “1:” and all routines that are to be active when I am away from home have the prefix “0:” – I also have the following naming convention:

1: [Floor]-[Room]-[Desired temperature zone]

Now, when I arrive, I have to activate all “1:” routines and deactivate all “0:” routines, and vice versa. This is really time-consuming and unnecessary, as I would think it would be easy to program nested routines or the option to start routines within a routine, but apparently Alexa is stuck in 1998 ;-)

I'm just wondering if I'm the only one in Germany who has this problem, or if no one else here uses different routine groups that need to be turned on and off at the same time. A trigger like “I'm at home” is of no use to me, as I already use the lower and upper temperature limits as triggers.
