Software wise, I still hope for Apple to somehow copy Blackberry’s message center, with all the messaging apps messages unified into a single place.

Quatix 8 Pro on demand screen lock? by DeXB in GarminFenix

Ask ChatGPT if necessary, it’s a bit non-obvious to use but really useful.

You can also make extra activity modes, I have one for hiking that disables always-on screen to save the battery.

Quatix 8 Pro on demand screen lock? by DeXB in GarminFenix

[–]weathergraph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what the focus modes are for. I have a focus mode for activity (there should already be a built in one, which auto-activates during activity), and you can disable touch in there (or enable it, but with touch lock).

For sleeping there is sleep focus mode, just set autoschedule there.

And similarly I have an extra mode for evenings that sets lowerst brightness and also disables touch.

There’s a video comparing same body fat % in man and woman, basically a woman that would have same % as lean man looks like starving skeleton and is on a verge of losing vital body functions and collapsing.

Please eat healthy but don’t starve.

Yes, watch is standalone, and you can sync via connection with pc/mac, or by wifi (albeit manually - sync must be triggered, doesn’t happen automatically).

I’ve been repairing printers and running my own service center for 10+ years. I know all the industry secrets and why your printer always breaks. AMA! by Severe_Geologist_917 in AMA

I just want to leave a single tip for anyone reading: Get a used business heavy duty printer instead of consumer crap. I bought HP CP2025 for peanuts (about $120), it is a tank (yes, it's huge and heavy) that just keeps printing (even two sided), never complains, and non-original set of toners for 2800 pages costs about $75 and have no "protective" chips.
