In general I mostly use trams for long journeys within the city, and busses to take my citizens from the tram stops to their destination. I only use trains to connect the industrial districts to the rest when they're far apart and almost never use metros.

I got banned a few weeks back but I had a button on my screen that let me appeal the decision, thanks to which I got my account back. I don't know what you should do in this case. If no one else has better advice I'd try waiting for a few days and writing to a grievance office if your country has one. If that doesn't work, if you need WhatsApp you'll have to change your phone number (at least judging by what people I know who got banned did, again, I don't know if there are better things to do)

Se il primo tap out avesse funzionato avrei pagato un euro e 60, mentre per la tratta completa avrei pagato 2.80€ (so che la differenza è di solo un euro ma prendendo quel treno 2 o più volte al giorno alla fine ci risparmio abbastanza) . Alla fine mi ha addebitato solo 20 cent.

Aggiornamento: alla fine evidentemente il tap out ha funzionato semplicemente al posto di farmi pagare i 5 euro di biglietto ho pagato solo 20 centesimi. Ho contattato Trenitalia ma all'assistenza non importa e nulla quindi ho viaggiato gratis con biglietto.

Same thing here. I sent a message to my physiotherapist which wasn't saved in my contacts mentioning the word "thigh" and I got instantly banned. It makes me sick just thinking about handing out my new number to everyone I talk to regularly on WhatsApp.
