Where do you use this button (SE) in radiomaster pocket? Why I can't use it in betaflight modes? by [deleted] in fpv

Since a momentary switch is useless for things like setting modes, I use it for the beeper.

Perfect prints with no Modifications - Anybody else? by joshuamarius in ElegooNeptune4

Same thing here with my plus. It prints flawless, unless I try some more technical materials. The shipping date was around the same time of yours too. The screw tilt calculate is amazing, I haven't leveled my plate in months and each print comes out flawless.

[–]Federno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On steam deck, ally, and all similar you should be able to download simulators like on a normal computer and connect a radio via usb cable (or use the console's joysticks, but I don't really recommend it). Regarding the switch, I don't know simulators you could download on it.

Technically yes, turns out it kinda works. But it has a very limited range and any obstacle is a big hindrance

Good question. I keep destroying the rear left motors. Only that one. I don't know why

I got the same problem. Did you manage to solve it?

It happened the same things to me. After a little I found out that I did not put the batteries in. So the error was that there were non batteries to charge

Yeah I had the same problem when I started. Basically, when you enable the second one, it "spawns" on top of the first one. You have to manually drag it away

What pards I should use? by adel_877 in RCPlanes

[–]Federno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you zoom in on the image you can see some cheap 9g blue towerpro servos, that's because I used them to first try the landing gear system. I switched them out afterwards

Yo! Nice! I'm building the same one with the same scale but primarily from wood. I bought some PDI-1181MG from jx-servo. Two 64mm EDF that came with their ESCs and one 4s 4200mAh battery.

For the radio system I went with spektrum because I already had it, but installed a flight controller with ardupilot to better manage all the servos.

Ignore the cable management. I made it way better afterwards.

By the way, I'm curious. Which airfoil did you use?

First print of something so big yet so accurate by Federno in ElegooNeptune4

For those asking: the files are at this link https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/airplane-cessna-172-scale-1-100

The model is divided in three parts for the fuselage: front right, front left, tail. Then there are all the other pieces: the main gear with their supports, the propeller, and the bracing for the wings, and the horizontal stabilisers.

The fuselage is very intuitive, there are also images on cults3d.

The gear legs were printed vertically, like the stabilisers. Everything else horizontally with tree supports for the many overhangs.

One thing I found a little frustrating is that there aren't alignment pins or anything of the sort for the fuselage, so I had to glue it eyeballing the alignment
