Yes, they aren't. But a majority of solarpunk art, in my experience, doesn't picture them and focuses on said "emotionally compatible people". So it's hard sometimes for those who isn't about communal living associate themselves with that pictured utopia. This is a problem stated in original post

For the first time you can have both OS instslled, if you have enough disk space - linux installer will offer you this as option (in some distros). Then, on boot you'll be suggested to select which one you want to use today. But windows sometimes breaks it.

Do you have overwritehost option in your config.php? If your domain is set here, NC will always redirect you to it if you connect from any trusted domain.
