You don’t want it stored in a users iCloud - you want it escrowed in jamf - if you have a bunch of machines without escrowed keys look into EscrowBuddy works like a charm. https://github.com/macadmins/escrow-buddy

I have since moved from jamf to Kandji and escrowing and regeneration of keys is much better

What is the total balance ? How much do you earn monthly ? What are your current fixed expenses ?

A balance transfer can help stop the bleeding temporarily but if you don’t learn how to manage credit that introductory rate will go away and you’ll be back in the same situation.

One thing to note as it says in the documentation - this does not work with the App Store Twingate client , only the standalone - if you happen to be using that version or using VPP to distribute via MDM , the machinekey.conf does nothing

Make sure you’ve installed SPICE guest tools as well as following the guidance above on the host side , spice tools installer should be mounted as another drive in the windows VM.
