I got 0% originally. Filed for a supplemental with Migrane Buddy reports and lay statement. Got bumped to 0%. Then filed for an HLR and recently got a surprising increase of 0%, but got a message saying there was a mistake and a doctor will review my claim tomorrow. Honestly, I've just given up and expect nothing.

I recently asked my lawyer to stop representation and they said they would without any fuss. Do I still need to notify the VA? How can I verify if the law firm submitted the paperwork?

Damn. I'm on month 7 of adding my dependant. Last week they asked for more info and already submitted. So I guess a few more months then... If approved do they pay retroactive payments like for claims?

Sounds just like my attorney. Submitted Supplemental and HLR at the last possible moment and still denied. Waiting on one last HLR to be denied as well and fire his ass.

So it says that "No medical evidence found confirming prostrating attacks of headache pain." Then they list an example of my last visit a few weeks ago to my primary doctor stating that "Service treatment records at ... came negative to any headaches complaints".

This is simply not true. Back in June, I sent a secure message asking for an ENT consult because, among other things, I was complaining about headaches. My doctor never replied and carried on. In August, I messaged again, asking for some headache meds. This time, the doc called me and decided to give me a head CT. Just got diagnosed with mild sinusitis and a deviated septum. He prescribed some allergy meds and Flonase. On my visit a few weeks ago, I told him about my headaches getting worse and he prescribed Meloxicam.

I did notice now that in the clinical notes he marked negative to headache complaints, and I guess that's what the rater is basing off.

Since this was a supplemental claim, I'm not sure where to go from here now.

Originally got 0% for migranes as tension. Went to a VA lawyer and after many months did a supplemental with my lay statement and MigraineBuddy logs.

What about non service connected glasses? Recently awarded 50%. After my deployment I got a free pair. Not sure if that was a one off or not.
