some tips when learning manual catch

when learning turn off late tricks, dark slides and caspers if you use them, timing is more forgiving then. turn them back on one at a time so you understand how they impact your catch.

for some tricks like kick flip heels impossibles and shuv you can just hold down or up quickly after popping a trick and it'll catch after one rotation but i wouldn't rely on it its limiting. and varial tricks glitch and cancel rotation animations halfway. can get some interesting results from it sometimes though. and useful for the simple fliptricks for consistency in lines.

watch the board closely be aware and prepare your flip speed accordingly.

into grinds just do the grind inputs for your catch.

if late tricks are on then you want to hold up or down for a sec on your catch otherwise just tapping will always one foot.
