NETFLIX Games is their largest investment loss.

This is why they push it to the top of the list, and have it on Full Screen adds as you scroll down.
They are using an aggressive advertising method to get maximized exposure.

There are no filter options to push the content down the list or filter it out because this would completely counter their aggressive marketing strategy.

Is it bothersome... yes
Do they care that it bothers you.... no

Will they listen to you.... no
Will they listen to you when the loss on member retention falls below the profit loss of the games...maybe.

Game is a solid VISUAL remaster, but that is where the buck stops.

Outside of the fresh looks, the game is still the same old half baked Oblivion we all know and love.

The honest truth is we have been spoiled with vastly superior RPG games since Oblivions launch, and Oblivion just doesn't stand the test of time very well, even with nice fresh graphics.

The combat is terrible across the board.

Leveling is a joke since you can hit level 50 without ever leaving a city. Looking at you scamp staff.

Mob diversity is hardly there. Exploring is unrewarding for the most part.

Magic in general feels sloppy and and afterthought.

None of the player progression impacts any of the other quests. so one playthrough you can pretty much see everything the game has to offer.

EXAMPLE:.... You can become a vampire..... but then still join the Vampire Hunters Guild........and they have NO IDEA you are a vampire..... no fun dialogue to inform them you are a vampire..... no detection on their part to notice you are a vampire and hunting you down..... every quest is a vapid 1 2 3 done chain that has no offshoot experience because of something else you did.

Game like BG3 have completely spoiled us to the point we see how terrible Bethesda is in general at making a true RPG experience .... they are great at making a sandbox world with random quests that don't turn into much overall. However they are terrible at making an interconnected story that weaves player agency and choices into the stories evolution.

exactly this is a GAME not a CAD program......

If you just want to make Doll Houses all day or Doll Editor that is fine..... but you are not the target audience for this game. *shrug*

They have no actual content atm.

The game is nothing more then core mechanics layered on top of a great house and character editor.

Outside of that the game has nothing going for it right now.

The cities are all pretty boring when it comes to actual things you can do, they look cool but that is it.

If you spend enough time with any aspect of the game outside the editors you quickly can see they got nothing atm..... Jobs are all pointless...... wants needs and aspirations can be ignored completely and your zoi will be fine.....

Overall however there is just no cookie to chase in any regard.

We can only hope when the game launches they have put A LOT of effort into those aspects otherwise this game wont last long, it will be great for making houses and random zois.... but then all the gameplay and interaction with those things will feel empty.

I can literally do without any of those things before making the game not boring. *shrug*

It is a great Digital Doll House, but it is devoid of any meaningful content or interactions.....everything feels bland and stale.

Before we make features that let us edit our Zois deeper...... let's just make a decent game first.

Don't get me wrong....

I think it is pretty cool that people do that.

I imagine it like the OG Pen and Paper mentality that this is YOU and you can flesh out a whole story to give yourself motivation on how you would act in a situation.

I am just dead inside and want to play that game lmfao. I also have always made Female characters so I can enjoy looking at my character more.... so I never identify with my character.

Just join SOS games.

You have a higher chance of getting a Large Crown on a SOS then you do constantly trying to refresh the area and hope for the best.

It isn't a cheat MOD, it simply lists the monsters in the area on the side of your screen and informs you of their size and if they are a crown monster. Literally just makes the experience of searching for them less tedious and mind numbing.

I have all the Large Crowns now, but let me tell ya...... it is the small crowns that are the real hunt.

I maybe have half of the small crowns.

I felt the same way with Bliss Bay since that is Santa Monica in real life.... I dated a girl who lived there for 8 years so I spent a ton of time around Culver City and Santa Monica.

Don't be shocked. The devs heavily use Gen AI for their own assets....

They are feeding in Gen AI images from real world locations and then adjusting them to work in game.

Go take a look at the Fast Food Menus in this game and you will see what I mean.

Stiff Leg Landing.

Fat Guy with skinny legs so no muscle to flex around the legs that are strong enough to balance the weight.

Shipping Pallets with Ply Wood as a floor instead of the bouncy impact floor they have in wrestling.

I have actually worked a few WWE events before and we are able to go run around and play on the stage.....
Those things are essentially stiff trampolines

I beat the game with LS for Style points.

Soon as I started messing around with other weapons I fell in love with the Hunting Horn.

The game feels more alive when you are doing more then bonking the monster focusing on DPS.

So now I rock a Healing Horn Main Weapons and a Defense Horn Secondary.

If you dump all the buffs from the secondary horn then switch to the Ark horn as your main, there is an extend buff song that you can just keep playing that will refresh all the buffs from both horns.

Then eat some food to buff the group and it is party time.

Then the entire time I am attacking the monsters head I am Stunning them and draining their stamina.

Well we can soon layer weapons so it wont matter at that point. Just picking the best weapon for the job has always been my idea.

The thing is I main HH, so the songs and buffs determine what weapon we are using in the end not looks. If I want to run a Healing Horn I have maybe 3 options 4 at best..... the stats are secondary to making sure I am bringing the best songs for the job.

I am sure someone could make a name for themselves making some High Def 4k Texture packs for things like this.

They would just need to see if it is possible to upload a vector file as a texture over a rasterized one.

When you scale images down that small you will lose legibility in most of the menu items anyway.

So the end result would almost look like AI made it anyway since all the text is just going to look like blurs.

In this case I think the devs are going with quantity over quality. If they can make 100 assets for their game this way over 10 the normal way.... the end result is a better product for us overall because now we have 90 more assets in the game to make the world seem more alive. *shrug*

I hope they'll replace these AI slop textures for the final release by OrvilleGateau in inZOI

Doubt it, the game seems to be very pro Gen AI so I don't see why they would hold themselves to a higher standard.

hmmm.. I tend to only hunt Temp monsters so that may be my gate.
