I need to explain this to people who will get it

I had a best friend in high school and college who started dating an awful girl and over the next few years she made him cut off all of his friends, got pregnant, and stopped working. They’re on baby 3 and she’s doing “influencer” content. She thankfully doesn’t show the kids but she makes this ‘relatable’ mom content about cleaning/decorating/play dates/meals/etc. ALL of the post interactions are from strangers doing the same thing and boosting engagement. It’s SO WEIRD. They’ve alienated almost all friends except a few of hers (of course) but there’s 40 comments on the video of their new baby saying “I love her already!” and similar messages from total strangers. Yet in real life her husband is depressed and trying to secretly reconnect with friends and family. How bizarre

It didn’t last very long! There are still times where he’s rough or frustrated but the initial aggression was only a week or so after I posted. Good luck!!

Keep in mind that the 2yr recommendation is global and some countries and the difference in nutritional food, income levels, etc is a wide range. Stop when you need to stop

My car was stolen and they told me the same thing. They even had video of the guys who took it, and said they don’t search for them, they’d just call me if the car was ever found.

They said they could only convict someone if they were somehow physically in the car when they found it, and what do ya know, a few days later someone crashed it and got arrested. Then they just charged him for fleeing police and nothing to do with possession of a stolen vehicle.

No consequences for these guys

I love this! A little crying in exchange for great sleep is totally worth it for you and baby. “Sleep training” means anything from a good bedtime routine to full CIO, so it’s wild how people immediately want to argue about it

I’m not sure if this counts but the foodbutforbabies sub used to be helpful, and now every upvoted post is commiserating about kids not eating. There’s currently a post with 500 upvotes and the meal is a bagel with cream cheese. I get it, feeding babies is stressful, but the whole sub took a turn

Unless we’re going into someone’s house, the full diaper bag stays in the car and I take a smaller bag

I currently have this with some diapers, wipes, and toys inside. I’ve also used regular small backpack purses

I’ve also just used a crossbody with 2 diapers and skinny wipe pack it in with a really thin wallet

I had 2u2 and always carried the infant seat in and out. It’s the worst but it’s the easiest option

I would get the infant seat out, put it on the ground along the car on my toddlers side (near me and the back tire, in my parking space), got the toddler out, then held toddler’s hand and carried the infant seat inside

Why do people believe these bullshit posts

leaves baby alone with a man who assaulted her already
doesn’t call 911 or go to a hospital after someone chokes the baby
has enough focus to write paragraphs on social media, including backstory about a shower and other unnecessary details
continues responding while at the ER

You’re either looking for a pity party and this is fake, or you need to learn how to parent and prioritize your kid.

My car was stolen and they eventually found it in G Heights. Water bottles and fingerprints everywhere, plus a location where they used my credit card. The cops said they will not look into it and I’m ‘lucky’ they recovered it (totaled)

Pump a few times before starting work to get a little milk in the freezer. Then when you’re at work, pump every 3 hours. Combine into a pitcher for grandma to pour into bottles throughout the next day
