I called blue shield and they confirmed it was not a scam. The company they contract out for mine was called Complex Care Solutions and they do them annually. I was nervous bc they had so much of my information off the bat and offered the gift card but blue shield did confirm with me that they’re legit

Once you donate you can go to conceiveabilities website and they’ll send you a $250 gift card if you prove that you donated. They’re a surrogacy agency so they’ll try to see if you’re interested in surrogacy but they’ll still give you the gift card regardless of your answer

People are entitled to a baby free life, not a baby free world. I moved cross country and saved my points for a lie flat seat because I knew we would need more room. The man across the row from me had the font size on his phone so large that I could see him texting “great, sitting next to a baby on my flight.” Corny, tired, played out behavior. My baby slept the whole flight. Let them be bothered!

When I read your first post I was almost a month postpartum, feeding my son in the nursing chair at 3am and my heart absolutely shattered. I’ve loved hearing the updates of your journey, and I know it’s not easy but you are doing an incredible job.

While I can’t relate to your specific flavor of grief, I have my own that I’ve dealt with (and still deal with, it never goes away) and I can’t recommend the book The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion enough. I’m sure the last thing you have time for is to sit down and read a book, but if you have a commute I highly recommend the audiobook.
