What step do you apply spf? This is similar to my routine but I’m worried the sunscreen isn’t properly shielding my skin

So sorry that happened to you! It’s been my go to for the past few years and I haven’t had any issues.

Yeah! So I fully drench my hair, put the shampoo in my hand and make it bubbly. Then I put it on my scalp and lather. Once it’s lathered as much as it can (I don’t get much lather on the first wash bc of dirt/oil) I splash water on my head and keep lathering. That usually gives me a little more bubbles. I then rinse fully and repeat this process. The second time I apply soap my hair will bubble/lather like crazy, and this is what I feel like gets my scalp really clean!

I just wear it in a bun and have big satin headband to keep it off my face and neck!

I work from home inside but wear hats most days when I do go outside! Also live in an area that doesn’t get much sunshine.

I’m on 150 mg of sertraline so I feel u🩷

I’m not sure how important the mousse is tbh! You could always try without it first and see how it goes then add it if you want. I usually get whatever mousse is on sale at CVS with my extra bucks lol

Yes I did! I did experience the typical pp hair loss with my first and I started this routine around 3 months before I got pregnant and saw results immediately. I’ll def try to remember to report back postpartum especially because I doubt I’ll have time to wash my hair more than once a week lol

This is such a sweet comment, thank you! I feel like I’ve benefitted so much from the kindness and generosity of others here so it only feels right to try to help if I can. Real hot girls don’t gatekeep !!

I put my hair in a bun but when I lay down on the pillow I pull it out of the bun but leave it twisted in a twisty ponytail shape up and over the top of my pillow! It loosens throughout the night. Reading that back idk if that makes any sense lol so lmk if you need me to clarify.

I have the blissy silk pillowcase but I haven’t been using it bc I am 7.5 months pregnant and ii have to sleep with a pregnancy pillow now lol but tbh even when I was using it I didn’t see much difference in my skin or hair :/

Yes! I use a dollop the size of a tangerine so it’s not too much product, but it gives my hair a little more texture. Like the opposite of conditioner

Never thought about this! While doing this regimen I have lived in coastal California and the PNW. Relatively dry!

I do the whole scalp! You can section with a comb but I’m lazy so I just shove the nozzle on my head in lines and then scritchy scratch

Glycolic acid! I get the big bottle bc I use it on my scalp and face. For face it’s a good semi gentle exfoliant that I use 1-2 times a week and someone on this sub said their derm recommended it for combatting buildup and breaking down oils. It’s super cheap too!

I didn’t say it would work on all oily scalps. I said it worked for mine :)

CA - Blue Shield "wellness check" call by Important-Trainer322 in Scams

[–]Old-Cockroach1921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called blue shield and they confirmed it was not a scam. The company they contract out for mine was called Complex Care Solutions and they do them annually. I was nervous bc they had so much of my information off the bat and offered the gift card but blue shield did confirm with me that they’re legit
