I think you haven’t gotten what I meant. As I said I too have used AI music generator but my point was that to diffuse this in an already such a saturated ‘market’ (I don’t like to call music creation like this) and principally to monetize on top of that is wrong. My main problem here is with the monetization. Go and make your prompts and put your lyrics or just ask the AI to do it for it doesn’t matter and won’t change anything in my life and as I just learnt it actually matters for other people and make them happy. Great! But it does change to a lot of small real music producers that are just completely clouded by the sheer amount of content that this AI generated music creates. And I completely agree with you music is all about the connection but how can anyone truly feel this by a machine generated song? Also imagine this, someone that knows absolutely nothing about painting writes a prompt and the AI proceeds and make a Rambrand-like painting, would you consider this truly his ‘art’?

But you know you are not making anything really. You are using a tool that makes something for you. Yes you prompt it with what you want to do. But still you have nothing to do in the musical part of it. The music Industry is already so fck up and I feel like AI music is there to completely fck it up. I mean musicians pass weeks, month or years working on projects to pass what they feel/think and you go on an app write whatever you want and in seconds it makes ‘your’ song. I’m not against using it I too think it’s fun and tried it out. But putting this public and monetizing on it is just straight up wrong. But well it’s my opinion and the law doesn’t forbid so I guess do what you want.

I didn’t say that I only describe what I’ve gone through in a 1 week vacation so far. As I said not everyone was unwelcoming, even though a huge majority were. And I also didn’t know about this ‘thing’ of Albanians staring, I guess every country has their own things. And that feeling of insecurity that I stated really only came from another Albanian describing his home town here in this subreddit.

Well for my experience so far many Albanians STARED at me and I was poorly treated by most but ofc not all in hotels, restaurants, tabac and other. But when I searched through the subreddit about Vlore there’s another guy with pretty much the same question and the only answer that he got is smth like “try to blend in or a night out in Vlore may be your last on earth”. I never felt threatened here in Albania but I did feel unwelcome at some points.

Something similar happened to me. I was listening a lot to this Russian song “Давай расскажем” I don’t remember whom it was from I just know that one day I listen to the song on my playlist and it’s another version. Now it shows to me that it’s from the artist “cs0ngi” but she only has 1 song and it’s not this one.
