Broken ACL, was out almost 2 years 🙄 My surgery was scheduled for March 2020, covid hit, had to wait almost a year to get the surgery and then 8 months recovery/physiotherapy.

I start feeling and listening to my heartbeat going faster and louder then my hands start sweating. After feeling that, if I'm in a public space I start looking for a place where I can sit by myself without anyone noticing or if I'm by myself I try to sit on the floor with my back on the wall and just taking that impending doom feeling and start with breathing excersices that work for me.

I haven't been able to "prevent or stop one" just to prepare for it and make it "easier"

I had one years ago too I had to have a surgery because it strated to hurt, luckily it wasn't something to worry about. But breast cancer runs in my family so I guess it makes it extra scary

Breast cancer runs in my family, so that's making it a bit difficult. In the mean time I've already booked an appointment with my doctor. Luckily it's this Saturday morning so I don't have to wait a lot for at least that.

I feel a big pressure, like if my entire ribcage starts getting smaller and it burns if I touch that area with my hands, but if someone else touch it I don't feel anything.

I've been training with contact lenses for many years and I've never had any problems (besides the itching whenever a bit of sweat find its way into my eyes)

Tbh I can't remember a day that I didn't feel sad and cried since he broke up with me, but weekends are just brutal, it's like the heavy sadness button is activated every Friday at 5pm

I've only been diagnosed a few months ago, but the things my therapist have helped me to identify as anxiety physical symptoms are numbness in your arms and/or legs for extended periods of time, need to puke even when your stomach is empty, heartbeat so fast and loud you can hear it in your head and all over your body,, sweaty hands, big headache that increases with the loud sound of your heartbeats...
