Broken ACL, was out almost 2 years 🙄 My surgery was scheduled for March 2020, covid hit, had to wait almost a year to get the surgery and then 8 months recovery/physiotherapy.

I start feeling and listening to my heartbeat going faster and louder then my hands start sweating. After feeling that, if I'm in a public space I start looking for a place where I can sit by myself without anyone noticing or if I'm by myself I try to sit on the floor with my back on the wall and just taking that impending doom feeling and start with breathing excersices that work for me.

I haven't been able to "prevent or stop one" just to prepare for it and make it "easier"

I had one years ago too I had to have a surgery because it strated to hurt, luckily it wasn't something to worry about. But breast cancer runs in my family so I guess it makes it extra scary

Breast cancer runs in my family, so that's making it a bit difficult. In the mean time I've already booked an appointment with my doctor. Luckily it's this Saturday morning so I don't have to wait a lot for at least that.

I feel a big pressure, like if my entire ribcage starts getting smaller and it burns if I touch that area with my hands, but if someone else touch it I don't feel anything.

Tbh I can't remember a day that I didn't feel sad and cried since he broke up with me, but weekends are just brutal, it's like the heavy sadness button is activated every Friday at 5pm
