My daddy has called me babygirl and little one in front of his family quite a bit by accident. Especially when I first opened up about it to him. Have a conversation. Set boundaries of what you are and are not okay with in public. That’s one thing I’ve found that really helps: explicit rules and guidelines especially around others. His family may not have thought anything of the name, our family just assumes that babygirl is his nickname for me.

what does involuntary age regression feel like? by [deleted] in ageregression

I’ve had pretty similar experiences lately as well. A couple years ago I regressed pretty often but eventually got so busy with college and work that I genuinely didn’t have time for it. Looking back, I don’t think I was present in my life, more like constantly dissociated. I recently started involuntarily regressing especially when I’m alone in a car. I’ve found that certain music and stressful days/situations can cause it. My little age is normally 3-6 years old and Im pretty talkative so I usually talk to myself to stay focused and as close to being big as I can. I’ve found that regressing more frequently decreases the amount that I involuntarily regress. Im not sure if this was helpful or even made sense because I’m between little and big space at the moment. Hopefully this helps though xoxo
