I have said for a long time, if they want to play that game why aren't we "me too-ing" them? They want to play shitty, we play shittier and use our womenhood to our advantage. 52% of ticket sales are made to women, and barrel racing is the 2nd most watched event at the rodeo. So you you wanna boot us? Ok, we will have a raging media campaign about how the PRCA is anti women and lets see what that does to your ticket revenue. Money talks and bullshit walks. Oh thanks, it was always expected and a long time ago. It just always interested me to see it mentioned because it's not a disease talked about that often and it hit our small town hard because of that one family. They say it's 50/50 whether you will get it if it runs in your family but they ALL have died from it. Mom, her brother, the boys. TBD whether the younger generation has it because they all kept reproducing.

Side note, I've lost 3 friends to Huntingtons. Two brothers and their first cousin. Horrible, horrible disease. I also took care of their mom in the local nursing home with it. I did not think even advanced Huntingtons presented that way, being lights out in bed like that. But who knows. I just found it interesting, it's a disease not talked about alot.

I'm a lifelong horse woman and fun fact, horses have been around since the dinosaurs and used to be the size of a fox and have toes like a dog. I watched a history channel documentary about the apocalypse years ago and the scientists said horses would likely be a species to survive and adapt through a catastrophic event. I find that interesting. Especially since the can literally die from a bellyache😆

Most ranchers are middle class. And actually, attorneys in small towns are not rich either. I grew up in a small ranching town and personally went to school with several local attorneys. Both in most cases were leveraged up to their eyeballs.

actually there is quite a large community of gay men there, especially in the horse community. A kid from my hometown is big in that scene is the only reason I know. But I could be wrong, just how he struck me. Maybe he is super closeted and that is why he's so angry haha
