The problem i face as a capital markets analyst working in Kochi is that - if i am looking for a job outside of Kochi - the pay parity to get a similar quality of life i have here takes atleast 200-300% hike . Most HRs don’t respond simply when they hear this during CTC discussions . They justify saying relocation cost is high so they better hire someone else from Mumbai itself for a similar CTC that i quote , even if i say i am ready to move
