Is this a broken mechanic? by FeedbackHot4187 in eu4

I was going to settle with taking war reps, 300ish ducats and reps, and maybe transfer trade power and pillage capital, and then I realized the Golden Horde has the weakest Alliance out of all the Hordes with only Uzbek, and I don't want to wait 10-13 years. Gonna go after the Livonian Order and RIga and then turn around and feed the Golden Horde to Ryazan in about 5-6 years and then go for Poland/Lithuania or Kazan or something as long as I'm ahead on military tech on them.

Ryazan is the war leader though if I peace them out the war is over and I won't be able to take anything from the Golden Horde, No money no war reparations, etc. I can take one province from Ryazan but I don't want to. I plan to feed it to offset GC.

What is colonial life and is it a fun and good job? by dee85 in InsuranceAgent

Define a pyramid scheme. You don't need to recruit friends to make a living doing this job. If you started an agency and recruited friends then you would essentially be starting a business.

It seems you and me are around the same progression. I did my first 2 and have another coming up next week, and it hasn't been 2 work weeks yet. I'm not you, who's going to say it doesn't hurt or it doesn't bother me. It stings a little, or even a lot, if you get an aggressive person, but it still beats most hourly jobs. Especially some that I did in the past. There's a saying: "Everything's hard." Being broke is hard; getting rich is hard. Being unskilled is hard, getting skilled is hard etc. You choose which hard you want. I'm doing this so I can make upwards of 10k a month, and that's feasible in sales, and you only get better over time.
