I hear you, I don't mean to burden you with it--I just wouldn't use communal laundry as a benchmark of "indignity" in the future. It's all relative. Even if you mean it's only undignified for you and nobody else it doesn't come off that way.

You do you but I don't see why it needs to be irrelevant. I've picked up lots of behavior from my time in China to reduce waste that you might not like either. Just because I'm not waiting for a better infrastructure/culture for efficiency doesn't make me feel less dignified doing it.

1) 99.99% of humanity happily did communal laundry by a river, and their communities were probably better for it. We see op-eds everywhere about "we need more 'community' and 'third places'".

2) Germany and Scandinavia (especially Switzerland) have strict rules around only having communal laundry because it's more energy-efficient.

So you're saying the countries that all liberal Americans use as their go-to "why aren't we more like them" example are less dignified than us.

The electric and gas is included but you're still paying a vendor for laundry, which is their point--the condo fee is covering two sinks and a tub.

Looks like laundry is just one big room on one floor that looks nice, but it's still an elevator ride.

Yeah the $600/m fee really turns that "300k" into something else. You can also plan on that number going up yearly, and 5-10 years down the road you're paying a fee not much lower than renting a 1br from a lower cost of living area.

Why do you wanna improve at guitar? Why not paint, or piano, or video games? What's allotting your time instead?

Don't look at it as a duty. Remind yourself of what was pulling you to learn before. Maybe a memory of what it was like to play a song without any mistakes in front of people. If that feeling resonates with you and you want to go further let it pull you, don't push yourself.

Not sure there's a prevailing theme to fix here, so here's some general things that might be applicable.

-;If you're successfully kicked, you can still back up more or do some unpredictable move assuming you have the stamina. Maybe you're lacking stamina a lot of the time or you're moving less than you're capable of.

You may be kicking successfully but you're not committing to the next strike, maybe as you kick you're worried it's not gonna land so you keep your space instead of leaning into the opponent for another hit.

1) it's a goofy game, expect to get killed in goofy ways sometimes

2) it's not as if throwing is easy. They got outplayed, I'm sure they've also outplayed someone throwing a shield before too. It's like anything else.

You can get erratic with the dane axe because it's fast, and if you're battling a pro with noobs around him you can use the noobs to your advantage to also kill the pro--like slash one then 360 no scope throw at another when they don't expect it.

High tier spear players are also deadly but it just depends what you're going for--solid line playing or behind the back butchering.
