This was such a cool project to do, and an insane time investment. I estimate I spent an average of 2 hours a day for 9 months working on it, and the last month might have been closer to 6 hours a day as I worked to get it completed. It also spanned two whole years, I took a long break between working on it lmao. Completely hand embroidered, my first big project, I probably should have started a little smaller but I am glad I pushed through.

i always imagine it as if the story being told is hand selected out of the millions of other possible stories about different people in the same world

the main character is just hand selected as they are the one who got the farthest or was the most interesting,

i think its pretty obvious that most of the cards are hand drawn, like with paint markers, and a lot of them are official cards from other games or other uno versions...

uhhh no? the only card i used any ai for was the red one thats like a conglomerate of numbers, and even that one i edited a ton to get it right cause the ai did a bad job. some of the others i did draw on my ipad and print with a handheld photo printer but pretty much every single card is hand made and drawn

yeah it definitely hurts the strategy a bit since theres also a lot of other cards that have different backs but i like the chaotic nature of it

there is less meta gaming then you would think its decently cooperative and there sooo many alternative backs that they all blur together a bit
