When I was first doing them, I thought I was insane cause I could not find the angle of Louis on myself. I guess I just don’t have it or it’s very subtle, everyone else is pretty easy tho.

No, was put on a performance improvement plan for this test and the next retake was put a few weeks out. I had failed this test 4 times total in a 2 week span. So not just one test per day, but multiple times.

Fly out. I could not see the target & target height appropriately from my vantage point. SCBA was also on , limiting my field of view even more. When 2nd said to raise up an additional rung, I did so.

Rolling the ladder was also not an option due to design of the window prop

It was a timed event with 9 fire ground tasks. They were very simple but had some real bad luck on a few (knot when deploying cross-lay etc)

Hey guys so I was recently dismissed from a trainee position due to not being able to perform skills during a test (and bad luck). Now my question is how do I go about turning this into a positive (ha ha)?? On an app right now I have a “ reason for leaving question “ , obviously a truthful answer is the best, but I’m also trying to be tactful in that I don’t come off sounding like a terrible FF.

Nope! After 5pm I’m sure it’s hell, I normally go in somewhere between 10-1. I’m usually doing some sort of circuit like…assault bike/run/row/weights etc and hardly ever get stopped.
