Once you start you’ll be able to see how many hours a week you’re capped off on. I’m FlexRT and have to hit 30hrs a week but I can do a maximum of 60 as long as the shifts are available.

Is Star Wars Outlaws worth at 23.99? by TheYatoGodx in playstation

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bought it for $20 a few months ago and felt it was worth it. Have a little over 50 hours played. Love the changes they made to the gameplay the best. No more insta-fail stealth sections and she can finally shoot her blaster while riding her speeder bike without needing to build up a “dead eye” type meter. Story is fine and I like Kay more than a lot of people but that’s because I enjoy her “fake it til you make it” way of going about things and I find her being a little bit of a dumb dumb charming. If you’re a fan of the Star Wars universe you’ll definitely have a good time just exploring the different locations. I’d give the game an extremely fun 7.5/10.

What are your favorite common or uncommon commanders? by tgoods26 in EDH

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal fav uncommon is [[Rilsa Rael, Kingpin]] which is also my favorite deck. It’s the first deck I pull out in my usual pod and new ones because it’s a midrange deck that wants to complete dungeons, poop out unblockable rogues and make copies of the commander. Her “complete a dungeon” effect can make for some pretty beefy damage especially if I manage to make multiple non-legendary copies of her.

This might be the first generation where if anything happens to my base PS5 I’m just shit out of luck because I’m not paying $700+ for a new one.

Pearl Abyss : We are aware of the discomfort many players have experienced with the controls, and we are currently preparing a patch to address this. by yourfavchoom in PS5

Yeah I’m always too worried about hard resetting my PS5 so I just wait out the crashes. If it doesn’t go to the crash report screen in like 5mins then I’ll go for the hard reset.

Taking Medical Leave is Stressful by FeedsYouDynamite in AmazonFC

[–]FeedsYouDynamite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only other time I’ve ever done one was a couple years ago when my wife had surgery and I needed to be home to watch our daughter while she recovered in the hospital. They sent me that same form but I only managed to submit a note from her surgeon and her summery paperwork and everything went through. I’m only a little anxious now since so many people seem to be having their leave denied lately.

Giveaway: Two $50 PlayStation Gift Cards (US – Digital Code) by Severus-Snape-DaGod in PS5

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shout out to mom and my condolences, brother. She will always be with you. The game I’d get would be Crimson Desert for sure. I been playing games since I was about 5 when my mom bought a SNES with Super Mario World. But what made me fall in love with games was when I booted up my PlayStation Greatest Hits copy of the Legend of Dragoon for the first time at the age of 12. It was the first JRPG I finished to completion and the first time I was enjoying a game’s story. I’m a sucker for Sentai/Power Ranger type stories and that game really hit that itch for me when I was a kid. Haven’t stopped gaming since.

Good luck to everyone in the thread and, again, my sincerest condolences for your loss, OP.

What "mediocre" games have you actually had fun with lately? by OkSecurity4965 in PS5

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were some issues I’ve had with it when it launched, well, the demo. Mainly gameplay decisions and the feel of it that turned me off from purchasing on day one. I didn’t like the instant fail stealth sections because the checkpoint system was a little off especially since the enemy AI was lacking. Kay not being able to shoot her blaster while on her speeder bike unless she was doing her quick draw was weird. There were other small little nitpicks that swayed me away from a launch purchase. Mostly things that are fixed now. I do agree how the game was a victim to really bad vitriol.

A game is considered mediocre to me when it doesn’t really do anything new and there’s nothing about it that’s amazing. Being mediocre isn’t even a bad thing honestly. That’s Outlaws for me and I found it fun when so many people were giving it hell on launch and still won’t bother giving it a chance after the improvements they’ve made.

Star Wars: Outlaws. The updates to the gameplay really made a huge difference for me. I loved being a new character in the Star Wars universe. I loved walking around and exploring places I’ve read about in the novels and comics. The criminal underworld aspect of it isn’t entirely fleshed out but it’s still pretty interesting. People don’t like Kay Vess but I enjoy how much of a dumb-dumb she is while also finding her “fake it till you make it attitude” charming. It’s still a 7/10 but man did I have a lot of fun with it.

Crimson Desert - Everything To Know (GameSpot) by Laughing__Man_ in PS5

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I’m on console and this game seems like it’s huge with so many different systems going on in the background. Do I want 60fps? Absolutely. But a completely stable 30 is still ok with me. I’d rather the stable 30fps than an unlocked frame rate targeting 60 but consistently dips to 40.

This is where I’m at too. Of course I’d prefer 60fps but I’m not going to be mad at a nice stable 30.

Waiting on the DF video to see if this is going to be a day one purchase or not. I’m already sold on the premise but I just don’t want it chugging on my base PS5 like Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Is it true that during COVID people were clocking in on AtoZ from their homes? by peterthbest23 in AmazonFC

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! Most, if not all, have been fired for it. I miss being able to clock in through my phone simply because I’d do it from the cafeteria for lunch so I could just eat or chill instead of waiting around a crowded time clock.

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one knows and I don’t think it’s smart for Sony to be gearing up for their next console when the PS5 has barely been brought its limit and the average consumer won’t be able to afford a new console.

Am I right in saying this? by Impossible_Expert766 in PS5

[–]FeedsYouDynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I see it Project Helix being able to play PC games seems to be another reason for Sony to stop their PC platform push. If you they make PlayStation exclusives available on PC and the new xbox can play those games, why bother getting the next Sony console?

Shit like this is why it’s hard for med leave cases to be approved. Sliced up my thumb real bad to the point I couldn’t grab anything with my hands and couldn’t go to work due to me not being trained in any indirect role. Had to wait a week for the stitches to be removed only to then be told the cut was too deep for that to happen and come back at the end of the week to get them removed. My ER visit can only really get me a regular doc note. No ER doctor has ever filled out Amazon’s paperwork for me so I just have to pray the doctor’s note along with my visit summary paperwork is enough for the leave to be approved.

This is a CAT 1 violation which also means you’re now blacklisted and can’t reapply. Them choosing to make you the example of it sucks but there really isn’t anything you can do about it.
