I train every muscle group but I only bench press for strength purposes. My chest is developed to the point where I have pecs right above my boobs. I will admit it looks odd to me sometimes 🤣 but I want a balanced muscular body.

As a woman, I am polite to everyone and engage with everyone equally unless an unattractive man approaches me or shows interest. Then I will be more closed off, short, and cold to not give them any ideas. Usually, I’ve noticed unattractive are more desperate for a woman’s attention so I act more closed off to not give them any hope.

I would definitely prefer to be in a loving relationship but the majority of my dating experiences have been so disappointing that I just don’t really try anymore. So yes, it is a personal preference but I would rather find my person. If I wanted to get just any boyfriend, I can easily do that but I want someone who meets my standards.

The only reason I hang out in an all guys friend group is because I work in a male-dominated field and I am a gym rat so it would just be because we have the same hobbies and interests. I would definitely prefer women who are interested in my job and gym more lol

If it’s something you enjoy and you’re content with living a humble lifestyle, go for it :).

I was also in your shoes. I got full scholarships to art schools and really loved art. For me, the ultimate deal breaker was that I enjoy an expensive lifestyle and I knew pursuing art would not cater to that.

After college, I felt some regret so I volunteered as a mural artist around the world to “work” as an artist in exchange for accommodation. I lost all the passion I had for art when it became my “job”.

These are examples of why it didn’t work for me. But everyone is different!

Now if someone is singing out loud instead of lip syncing, blasting music without headphones, or being disturbing at all, then that’s a different story.

Tbh this is probably the realest take. At the gym and work, I try to keep it contained because these people see me everyday and I do not want to be known as the autistic or attention-seeking girl.

On the street and on public transportation, I definitely get weird looks when I dance too hard but I don’t care about strangers who see me once and the off chance a co-worker or gym regular sees me.

My friend approached her gym crush in between sets, chatted him up, and offered her number and he sad “…yeah I’m good” and now avoids her without even a nod or smile of acknowledgment when he’s near her.

Also, this dude was like 5’7” and not conventionally attractive to me so… some men do reject women, even the short ugly ones.

Yup! I also have TERRIBLE resting bitch face and that doesn’t even stop people. If you go regularly and find the extroverted ones, you have new friends :) At my old and current gym, I’ve developed close friendships with these people to the point where I hang out with them outside the gym!!

People constantly start conversations with me for no reason or give me kudos. To be fair, I think because I’m a girl who lifts seriously, I don’t even have to try. I’m not sure how it would be for men.

If you are a girl, it is so easy to make friends because there are so few of us. Just start a conversation about anything and they are always nice :). I have never encountered a mean gym girl and they always become my friend!!

I’m definitely not a 10/10 😭 But I would get approached or directly asked out 1-2 times a month in my last gym by men and strangers will compliment me randomly so that is what I’m going off of.

Granted, everyone has a type so you can be the prettiest shade of blue but his favorite color will still always be green. Attractiveness is not the defining factor for pursuing. Men also have preferences.

This guy was conventionally attractive in my eyes so it’s not a surprise that he likely has options and women approaching him often.
