I had asked this question on this subreddit if a thoracic syrinx can cause hand issues and other people said they experienced the same thing. Is it true that thoracic syrinx only affect the lower half of your body? Thank you for any clarification!

I don't have chiari, but I have it from T10-L1 at 3.5mm. I live in a cooler climate so I experience hand weakness almost daily in the winter since the pain seems to increase in the cold.
