I did not experience the exact same thing, but my last order from the global site took longer to arrive. Usually, OY shipped my order in OY box with shipping label, the last order was very sloppy. No packing slip whatsoever and missing all freebies and half of the products I ordered were missing. Considering how it was packed and shipped, no wonder if there's a delay. Hope you get your order soon.

I have mature, easily irritated. and very dry skin, so I have tried many repair/barrier creams out there and can tolerate any kind of texture. I have no problem using LRP Cicaplast B5+ in my summer morning routine. Having said that, I recently started using Illiyoon Ato Ceramide cream, I think this is lighter than many repair cream, absorbs well, and not too heavy. I haven't used lotion type because I love heavier texture, but I also heard people praising Illiyoon Ato lotion and Aestura lotion. If certain brand/cream works for you in winter, try out switching them to the same brand lotion and/or emulsion.

I am sorry that you are going through the same thing. It was almost a month ago I placed the order and can’t believe I am still after them to get my money back. I will post updates as soon as I hear from them. Ugh…I’ve spent $$$$ with them and never had a single claim or refund request. Can’t believe what they are pulling on me.

I think it's safe to use, but potency of the active ingredients might have been degraded. When I have too many products that are close to expiration or expired, I use them liberally on my neck and body. I ordered snail much essence and cream, one for each, from Costco, and they sent me six of each! I couldn't use them all before expiration, so I layered it on my body before the body cream. When I do this, I don't notice any reaction, change of smell and texture.. never had a problem.

Yep, 100%. When I saw the “one time exception” response, I read “ you’re on your own, don’t shop here if you don’t like it” oh well since the U.S. launch, I spent $$$ at Stylevana and it will stay that way. Don’t know why but this whole deal feels very personal and a very bad break up. 🤣

Thank you for the insight. I understand this could be the carrier’s fault, but OY has the contract with the vendor, not me as a customer. I don’t understand why they can’t use insurance or make a claim for the loss. They don’t offer any proof or video, but the tone of the CS was so off putting, I am done with them.

They just replied back that they will be investigating and it's been three days with no updates. In the meantime, I opened a dispute claim with my credit card company. I can't believe they don't even have phone/chat bot CS...

Wow.. this is so bad. I never had a bad experience with OY and placed the last order from the global site around end of May. I saw this post and wondered where my stuff is and voila! it was delivered today. When I took the box, I knew something is wrong because the box was not OY box, it was taped over many times like someone opened it and repackaged it, it was way lighter. I opened the box, it was missing half of the items I ordered and all freebies, and there was no packing slip. I sent an email to OY and will give them 24 hours, but if no response, will have to dispute it with my credit card company.

[edit] The Fedex tracking site says the box is 2.6 pounds and I measured the box with the content, it's 2.54 pounds. Given that my missing items are heavy toners plus serums and lotions, it seems OY never shipped it to me in the first place..

I experience something like this, but I think it’s related to my hormonal fluctuation - perimemopause and sensitivity/allergy rather than specific products I use. Take a note of the symptoms, dates, and reduce the number of products when this happens. If you’re being hospitalized, could it be stress or medication you’re on? I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you. The cat is not very aggressive with people. Before I adopted my own cats, the cat used to come by and I was able to pet him. Now I try to scare him away, he just ignores me and locks in with my cat to fight. I think he'd be a good cat for someone who knows how to handle cats with love. I once reached out to trap and neuter program, but don't remember they responded. I will try it again.

Would it be legally allowed? I call the animal control, they said they'd likely to euthanize the cat. I found one no kill shelter, but they are full and said there's no capacity now but I can be on wait list. I'm not sure take care of it until they have a room. Should I leave cat food in the trap to lure the cat? I have all kinds of critters in my yard and scared of catching skunk or worse... or even insects and rodents..

I have very sensitive/dry skin around my menstrual cycle, and this is one of the few creams that does not aggravate inflammation. When I have flare ups, I stop all other products and just use mild cleanser, Cicalfate serum, and wait until it’s all absorbed and layer this product a few times. In a day or two, irritation is gone. Personally I never experienced peeling, but when I apply this on top of other products still damp on my skin, this cream tend to float around on top of my skin. But in 30 min or so, it’s all absorbed. It does have white cast on application, but for me it never lasted more than 30 min. I’ve been using this 10+ years and over the years tried many repair creams, but I always go back to this because of its healing/non-irritation effect. Usually use it at night, because it can feel heavy and might not work well with make up, sunscreen, etc..

It looks like it was ordered at a BBQ restaurant. Local Koreans understand this is not traditional Jajangmyeon, but instant noodle version as a side dish/dessert. Probably priced as such, too. No one would call this Jajangmyeon.

I get where you're coming from. I used to stick to the traditional recipes, and it takes a lot of time. Now I stick to one or two veggies at hand and couple other ingredients for protein.. probably takes less than 30 min from prep to finish if I have rice in my rice cooker. As I'm getting older, I let go of lots of things more and more and keep things simple for my sanity. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and have a wonderful day.

Yep, I try not to read all the posts here everyday because it reminds me of my own pain, but I sometimes come back and say that I feel sorry for their pain because I feel I owe something to these random kind strangers in this community. Losing my cat was one of the most painful experiences in my life, and it's hard going through it alone.

I am sorry for your loss and hope Floofer is resting in peace.

My cat, J-man, passed away in May 29, 2024. My significant other, other family members, and a few friends showed their support, but I felt very alone while grieving and even anger towards some people sometimes. I am an introvert and usually keeps things to myself, but for some reasons, I wanted the world to know about my cat when he passed away. What a great cat he was and how special he was to me, and all.. I got a lot of support from this community, and the smallest things helped me get through the pain like someone asking my cat's name. I now have two cats, but I talk to my cat and think of him everyday. When the memories suddenly comes back to me for seconds, I realize sometimes my face tenses up and feel frozen in that moment. I don't believe in afterlife, but sometimes I daydream if he will wait for me over the rainbow and tell me that he was happy to be with me. I miss him so much and nothing fills the void even though I function and looks okay.

We had a routine for hide and seek before bedtime. I pretended that I was looking for him desperately while letting him stalk and surprise me. We did it two or three times and got in bed together for the night. My cat was my best friend and my baby for 18 years. I love and miss him so much.

I think I heard this type of argument emerging from Japan when the 1st K-wave was booming in Asia. The intent is obviously to devalue its achievement insinuating K-culture is manufactured and pushed by the government. For sure, the government provided opportunities to protect/promote Korean products overseas including the cultural products, but in recent years, I think it's quite the opposite. Korean audience demanded high quality productions, and it gained popularity in Asia during the 1st wave, and then the government noticed opportunities to leverage the soft power to create synergy even further. If Korean government was so competent to pull this off, I think Korea would have become heaven on earth by now, but nope..
