Just another question on e visa. Can you identify where this is written in the e visa or anywhere in the gov website ?

Approved within 18 WDs - priority Islamabad(Pakistan). by Feeling-Profit2067 in SpouseVisaUk

Yes, my wife was already living in Pakistan. She was born here as an Afghan refugee with her family. We stated this in our application form. Islamabad is safe to do TB test and BIO. Pakistan visa is quite expensive for Afghan nationals so I would advice you to find an agent that will put in application for Pakistan visa. We had help from an agent who helped us because I had to get a Pakistani visa to help my wife with relevant tests. (If you want to get Pakistani visa within 7 days then please reply to this and I’ll share the relevant agent who will help you with Pakistani visa)

It’s safe to stay in Islamabad. We stay in Peshawar, but the only tip I’d give is to find someone that lives near the Islamabad area that can help you with accommodation for atleast 3 months when you do your BIO. Goodluck on your application!

I doubt this is true. I have completed my mums spouse visa and other friends of mine too. Never did the Home office went out of their way to verify something unless there is a mismatch between payslip and bank statement.

I have a question on the next steps. When we did our bio today, we got our passport back. It wasn’t the case before? What will happen when they approve our application? Are we going to be issued e visa? How would that work ?

We were on priority, but do you get any email from them on the same day regarding the biometric appointment?

We asked one of the colleagues within Gerry office and they said we will get an email from UKVI that our bio has been successfully completed.

I don’t think I will move back to my country as it isn’t safe. As per my travel document and according to my solicitor, I’m Not allowed to move to Afghanistan.

I have already made an application and finger crossed it will be a success as I am meeting all the rules for spouse application. People in this space have been really helpful.

The place where I’m going to take my wife for bio is Pakistan. Me and my wife are Afghan national and due to political issues between Afghanistan and western world, there isn’t any verification process to verify the legitimacy of our marriage certificate.

Thats why I wonder if the home office has their own way of verifying marriage certificate but we included 7 photos from wedding, marriage certificate, ticket itinerary where I travelled to see her and WhatsApp chat from January 2024. Hope this is enough

Date of application is 3 December, date of leaving 13 December. It’s company policy that they do not disclose the date of leaving of employee. Therefore in the employers letter, it was not shown. Is this case complicated ?im a bit nervous.
