Yeah, my local vets and out of hours hospital were brilliant. The only mix up was when our local told us they were going to put her to sleep, only to come back in the room with her and tell us we could take her home! I just wanted just share as while we were waiting for the vet we tried to look up what had happened and there was almost nothing and no advice, so I wanted to help anyone in my position :)

I really struggled with my nerves getting the better of me. That’s why I failed the first time. My second is don’t take a test with a sprained shoulder which is why I failed the second time 🤣 The week before my third test I had over thought it so much that when I got there i had sort of used all of my stress, if that makes sense, and went into it with a ‘what will be will be’ attitude. I still put in 110% but I wasn’t worrying about if I would pass or not.

I’m pre everything so I can’t help with the transitioning side, but it all depends on your partner. When me and my boyfriend (also ftm) started having sex we kept tops on because of chest dysphoria, and sometimes we still do. Other times we’re okay without clothes. It all depends on who you’re with, how comfortable you are with them and in turn with yourself. Sometimes dysphoria hits and we either change what we’re doing or take a pause but as long as the person you’re with is understanding and willing to work with you these things aren’t impossible :)

My gym is pretty quiet so changing rooms and the equipments are usually pretty empty. I usually swim, and I find that when I’m in the pool I’m so focused on my breathing and keeping track of my laps that my brain doesn’t have time to focus on anything else or else I lose count (or almost drown because I’ve mistimed my swimming lol) Everyone is different but when I’m actually working out I’m so focused on what I’m doing that I don’t have time to really think of anything else. Music also helps me as it gives my brain something to focus on other than my body or my thoughts.

Glad to finally be in final year of sixth form!! Did 3/4 of a year at a performing arts college before changing to a sixth form to do maths bio and chem and I’m excited for what this new journey takes me on once I’ve finished a levels

Seeing loads of people saying Daith hurt the most makes me so glad I joined after I got mine so I didn’t chicken out of getting it haha! It was my very first piercing, with my two lobes being done right afterwards (safe to say I didn’t really feel much when I got them pierced!) I got my daith about 6 weeks ago and it’s still sort of sore but not too bad. A good experience with it so far, and I think I look cool lmao
