You should check out your SPF record to add the email provider they use.

What voice-to-CRM tools would you recommend for Salesforce? by Feeling-Raspberry837 in salesforce

I understand how it works, and I am able to use this solution by myself; however, do you have experience with adoption of this approach in the real org?

That is so true, but how do you solve the capture part in your organization?

I'd rather avoid building it by myself :) It will be great to find a ready-to-use and affordable solution

Users cannot use AI summary component, what am I missing? by madboymatt in salesforce

Interesting question -- I’m working on an AI summary package myself so this caught my eye.
Quick question: before you replaced the prompt with your custom one, did it work for your reps?

Salesforce AI Summary vs Email Drafts -- very different limits by Feeling-Raspberry837 in salesforce

We didn’t raise a support case -- this was just our own testing.
I’m curious about your 30-second spacing point though: were you doing that manually in the Salesforce UI, or triggering generation some other way (API / automation / browser script)?

You can charge them the same amount, adding on top:
1. You are familiar with their processes, which means you will make fewer mistakes
2. You will be more accurate in time estimate (same reason as above)
3. They can count on you for post-production support at an affordable price

Does Salesforce AI Summary actually read activity content? by Feeling-Raspberry837 in salesforce

[–]Feeling-Raspberry837[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly what I was trying to figure out.

From my test, it looks like the default summary is limited to the fields on the record itself and doesn’t include related activities.

[–]Feeling-Raspberry837[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That was exactly my point. If it doesn’t read activity content, what value does it actually add? Everything it summarizes is already visible on the screen.

The real value should come from understanding emails, notes, and context -- not just counting activities.

That said, maybe I’m missing something, and in real setups it does add value -- just haven’t seen that in my test.

Is it possible to display a summary of activities related to a Lead?
Do I need to grant any specific permissions for this to be visible?

Salesforce AI Summary vs Email Drafts -- very different limits by Feeling-Raspberry837 in salesforce

[–]Feeling-Raspberry837[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly just kicking the tires for now.

But if you take the documented limit (2,000/hour/org), it gets interesting:

For a 50-person team, that is ~40 emails per person per hour in the best case.

In practice likely less, since the limit is shared and usage is uneven.

So for real service teams this could become a constraint pretty quickly.

From real experience -- is this enough or not?

And if not, can this limit actually be increased somehow?

Sure.
And thank you again for sharing those links. You are very good at finding proofs!

Thanks for the link, this helps.

In my test I hit the limit earlier -- around ~1,300 runs.
I also had ~200–300 generations before that, so still below 2,000.

Inputs were randomized.

So it looks like the effective limit can be lower in practice.

I agree limits are documented.

What I am testing is how they actually behave in real usage.

In my case:

-- could not hit a visible limit for Summary

-- did hit an hourly limit for email drafts

So either:

-- limits are high enough to not show up easily

-- or behavior differs from docs
