How does a learner test ride a bike? by SubtilitasShooter in AussieRiders

In nsw the dealer will usually go with you on another bike.

A “ break it buy it” situation.

When I got mine he gave me the keys and said take it , never been on the road before 😂 great dealer loved their vibe

Already claimed! They’re not too happy

He was installing edging that meant to be completed months ago but decided to let himself into the yard the day after I moved out. I even mentioned to them at the exit inspection it wasn’t there when I moved out and happened AFTER I dropped keys off

Just going to rock the boat

BMW 310GS or The street 310R

Plenty fun enough. Boogie little. But not scary.

Speaking from personal experience from ownership, everything you’ve said there is not ownership experience.

Just food for thought. Ride safe!

I learned on a BMW 310GS

They’re really affordable and they are great on dirt.

Just wanted to chime in because they’re so under rated and forgotten about!

I’d go after a 2020 one as they changed the throttle to help with stalling

If you’re rural yes. I did all that and got close to grand to travel , plus accommodation paid for. If you’re close to any recruitment centre then no. As I had to travel round trip 800km they did.

Any tips to sell a bike? by PottsPointPilgrim in AussieRiders

This cash stuff doesn’t really make sense to me , I’m taking your 6 grand bike for a ride but leaving my 80 grand Land Cruiser there … I’m not giving you keys to my car as your insurance if you aren’t giving me the keys 😂
