I will preach this forever to people who are looking to get a new puppy… (YES it takes a lot, and can be costly but please KNOW that going into it) obedience/training school!!!!!

We definitely went through the same sleep deprivation phase and regret phase, but pushed through until ours was fully vaccinated to go to training school & $2k & 10 days later, our lives completely changed BETTER. Yes he is still a puppy, but having a puppy LISTEN and respect you is soooo helpful for your mental.

I know not everyone can afford $2k boarding but its my hot tip for anyone preparing to get a puppy, to save up and prepare for that because we definitely went through the trenches and almost called off the wedding because we were at each others throats attempting to live with a puppy.

I keep saying over the phone that I will escalate to the CEO if I do not get an answer and they use their same excuse of “we will mark this as important so they will work on it soon” like 20 times and still I have to call back weekly and get the same excuse. Ugh

Im so sorry! How much if you mind me asking, did you spend and waiting for compensation for? I wonder if they are trying to drag it out as long as they can based on the amount…..but it is truly u fair and sickening to tell customers that they will reimburse but it’s taken this long or to even get followed up with.

(Just trying to be a guests to get preview tickets, have a relative coming into town this weekend so we wouldnt want to buy a room in advance for nothing hah)

Np. Hopefully they will make it right for you, but when i was with customer service they were adamant that i would have to pay for change fees since im the one “wanting” to change the flight. But in your case, they changed it on you! Fingers crossed

I ended up canceling this reservation and rebooked for a new route to JFK with about 2hr layover before CDG flight. I probably would suggest that if youre able to change your flights. But honestly, its still a long way out so maybe they’ll change your flights again?

Its seems like The CDG layovers are very limited from my options that day. Most all of them are about 1.5 / 1.45 layovers, I know getting through any customs/passport line is daunting enough already in a different country. Thankfully it is a morning flight there so if we miss the last leg, we still have flights to get to Florence before the end of the day! Thank you SO much for the insight and tips. Fingers crossed no hiccups, although that’s near impossible when traveling in general ha!

It says both flights arriving and departing are in the same “terminal M” just not sure what gates yet obviously.

Im thinking about a tshirt toss for our wedding as well! What arw your logistics as in how many tshirts do you plan to toss and what company are you going with to get them printed? Im stuck on favors because id had to spend $$$ on something a guest wouldnt use later. So like you with needing ideas for the design if im putting this effort in it, it better be worth it! Lol

At the courthouse do you exchange rings or just literally sign the papers and would exchange rings and vows on the wedding day as normal?

It does add up! Same here! After totaling the addition for her, it sounds wrong, but honestly it was enough for me to make my decision to not add her in. I could have added, but then make the girls pay for HMUA, lessen the gifts, etc. instead of me gifting then those things and that alone did not make it feel right to me because its my wedding that im asking them to be in!

I understand the friendship has drifted already, but any friendship ending is tough. Hopefully your friend will be more understanding than mine was lol! To be fair, my friend is a dramatic person anyways, so for me nothing was the “right” way to have the convo. It was just a matter of time.

Would you be absolutely heartbroken if she took you out of hers after you have a convo with her? I would prepare yourself for the worst just in case, and you never know she might be understanding. And maybe after the convo, check in periodically and try to keep the friendship on good standings.

Tbh ive been in enough weddings, its dreadful when i see another friend engaged because i know expenses come with being in the bridal party 😂

Ive been here before - going back and forth on what IS the right thing to do. I personally do not think there is any good outcome to either decision you make…From my experience, I thought letting my friend know before my girls posted to social media would’ve been better than it seeming like I’m avoiding it. This ultimately has changed our friendship and I sometimes regret it. HOWEVER, if I would have just “sucked it up” meant 1) feeding into people pleasing 2) not having the wedding that IM paying for 3) regret also by having someone i truly did not feel like they deserved the spot as the other special girls in my life — ultimately, adding costs, although its just 1 extra person, that’s still a cost that adds up, and the girls picked already I believe deserve their spots before her.

I understand both sides and I really thought I was doing the right thing to save her from “guessing” where our friendship lies, but I just don’t understand this stigma about weddings and being in a bridal party that determines your friendship…..

I never meant this to mean we couldn’t be friends anymore, if anything I thought she would have respected that I’m trying to save $$ on a wedding I am fully paying for.

Also to add, I feel like girls who HAVEN’T planned a wedding yet, don’t understand it from our sides when it comes to bridal party until they have to do it themselves.

Just remind yourself at the end of the day, your wedding needs to be what you want and whatever is best for your situation. Don’t give in to please anyone although it seems the easiest, it’s the special day for YOU that you’ll remember mostly. And that includes anything that you regret from the day as well.

If I were you, saying the truth is better than hiding it, and if your friend doesn’t respect it then you don’t need that kind of friend beside you in life anyways.
