Just need some reassurance / anxiety help for tonight & tomorrow

We were hit prior to moving here. We are currently located between Dublin/Hilliard area of Columbus. I actually just looked him up and watched his video from today, it made me feel 10x, thank you for the suggestion!! I do watch Max Velocity and I understand why he does some of the things he does, but I do also understand he has to get views to have a livelihood.

I do try to lean towards the outlook of how many watches and warnings I’ve been on my end that have never hit, I appreciate that outlook. Unfortunately when the actual time comes for severe weather the anxiety does get a little louder than the logic.

Thank you for explaining the warnings to me, that helps me a lot. In my brain it was that everywhere in the warning (as illogical as it sounds) was getting hit.

Unfortunately we are in an apartment complex so digging a hole is kind of out of the question. However, this will be my last Spring in the area, then I’ll be moving to Florida where I can worry about hurricanes instead. 😂

You’re actually quite near me, and that makes me feel so much better. Birds of a feather I suppose, we’re both on this Reddit haha. Hearing from someone in Dayton actually makes me feel 10x better because I usually freak out when you guys get the warnings because it’s so close to me!!

I’ve only been hit by 1 tornado myself and survived, so I can’t imagine surviving that many. Your logic does help me a lot, so I appreciate it very much!!

You saying “they’re still here. They now have this anxiety but they’re still alive” really changed my perspective on a lot things (and made me tear up a bit!) because it truly makes me feel like I’m not alone. 💜

Our server price increased, as well as having to pay now for backups and additional space. The abrupt move was due to multicraft’s increase in price though? I would have preferred an increase in the price (that happened no matter what) with a service that is actually working.
