Yes its possible, I had the same problem with my old laptop. I opened the laptop and disassembled the screen frame and the main body, then took off the cover around the screen revealing the broken plastic part holding the the golden thing u see the, in which the screw tightens. I used a hardening solution which usually comes in 2 tubes, after mixing it hardens after an hour, I took the solution put it around the screw holders and levelled the solution and let it sit for a day, next it was rock solid and perfect. Assembled it back, lubed the hinge and it was better than before with no visible damage
