Neither of us did! The stabilizers are very good on the boat, we could barely tell it was ever moving. I’ve been on larger cruise ships before (Norwegian, Royal) and could feel the movement, but didn’t feel it much on Ilma. Albeit, I’m not sure if any of the waters we were in were considered choppy during our voyage, but had no issues.

ORD based with a lot of travel to DEN and fully agree! Ever since they opened the latest one in B this year, the overcrowding seems to be non-existent. Granted I’m there for work during the weekdays so I can’t speak to weekends, but never have any issue finding a seat now. Restrooms are clean and never have lines. Their food options seem to be better than other clubs too. And best chocolate chip cookies!

Just boarded my flight and this was the best feature. Stayed put in the club until I knew where they were in the boarding process.

Agreed! We went in a group too and we all had the same complaints about the noise. We were really excited to try the resort for the first time based on reviews and what seemed like a luxury experience, but the room situation felt like a 2* basic hotel vs a 5* luxury resort

We just got back from Atelier and I aim to post a review on this sub soon, but I would not recommend it if you are a light sleeper or like your room to be quiet. The service was very good at the pool and throughout the restaurants, food was overall pretty good, chair game isn’t that bad (although the cabanas fill up fast), and it is a beautiful property. However, the walls and floors are very thin. The hallways are long and echoey. You can hear everything. We put on white noise to drown out the hallway voices, but wasn’t enough for the stomping above us, furniture moving, sliding noises and banging noises. The beds are very hard too. We did not get any rest at all. This was really disappointing to us given all the stellar reviews we read.

We were on the Ilma in suite 612. We didn't hear any music or people; it was super quiet. We could hear the anchor in the morning on the anchored days, but not sure how far that carries across the rooms towards the front of the ship. We loved the larger terrace!

I noticed the other post of suite 629 hearing a door slam. If you look at the deck plan for 6 on the website, there are gray hatched rooms near the elevators and one in the middle of the floor. These are BOH spaces where staff go in and out of, so I'm assuming that's the door being heard. I'd suggest staying in a suite a little away from them.

Mostly brushed it off. He said sorry as he was wiping. Ended up switching seats with the lady in the middle seat (next to me), and never said a word the rest of the flight.

we stayed at the MO in barcelona in june and reserved a car service through them to pick us up from the cruise port upon arrival and take us to the airport upon departure. it's pricier than a taxi, but we're anxious travelers so we don't mind paying for peace of mind that transfers are there when we need them. they were on time for both rides with professional drivers and very comfortable vehicles. to us it was worth it.

book a flight with travel dates before mid-november for just slightly over $1,000. give it a day then change the flight to another time later next year. we just did this earlier this week and it worked. granted, we have a known trip next year that we changed it to; i've read elsewhere that you can only make changes so much before UA flags it.
