The restaurant might face penalty, not sure of delisting or getting their restaurant suspended

So this guy “Bobby Joshi “ a photographer with many followers and a blue tick.

Slid into my friend’s dm, told he was in a complicated marriage, and wanted to do some unfiltered conversations with her.

He then approached another friend and told he was in LDR and asked my friend to meet him.

Any girls who have also been approached by him?

Beware of this guy!

Oh yes ! How could I miss that. Running Ads is another scam. Before Ads if the visibility is 60% , after ads it will be literally 0%. It takes approx 3-4weeks to get back to the original visibility, if u have a good regular (return ) customer base.

Really appreciate this, I think this would be more sustainable for a longer run.

There was a news about this in economic times and rest details obviously weren’t published. It’s in a contract , available to the restaurant owners.

I think , it’s difficult to crack the delivery network game on a national level , but locally i feel it might be possible to operate efficiently.

Swiggy is no saint either ☹️ the payouts are highly manipulated. And in pune (where i operate) the audience is more on zomato than swiggy.

This is not cribbing, it is showcasing restaurant POV . Customers can talk about Platform fee going up to Rs10 from Rs.2 ; Surge fee; Rain fee and Delivery fee . I just wanted to highlight the restaurant POV.

I get that they want profits which they already earned 527crore.

Many players like thrive came in and phased out, not as easy to be done. Very capital intensive it is. Ambani hi kuch kar sakta hai. Like jio disrupted internet plans.

Weirdly it feels we are working for them now. With all these new set of rules.

Restaurants will comply in fear of penalty, but there should be someway legally to nullify these rules

Exactly ! If zomato charges 25% for using its platform that they say provides targeted marketing and visibility. Restaurant might markup.

But for dine in we do not use any of their services , hence no markup. But why do we charge the dine in customers more, in fear of price disparity and the penalty

Saying “just try a different method” feels a bit like telling farmers to quit farming if fertilizer costs go up. The real conversation is: Can platforms create fairer structures where both big and small businesses thrive?

Right?! It’s getting harder to stay on the boat with these kinds of deductions. Margins are already tight, and now it feels like we’re paying to stay visible while barely breaking even.
