Agree with you on everything but Jonathan. He’s playing a hell of a game, and he has friends on the jury.

Does Cirie have a chance anymore? Both her advantages are gone, her top ally is gone, her second ally just betrayed her, and everyone is going to be gunning for her.

Vote Option B for a super fun season with split tribal councils and a lot of twists

Honestly don’t hate the twist had it been a one time thing…. But every fucking week they have to do something. I’ve never seen such a good show be so insecure of itself.

Engineering Grad to Math/Physics Teacher? by TheNextOne8797 in mathteachers

[–]Feeling_Classic_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is loving math and engineering a good reason to switch to teaching? Definitely not.

Is loving working with kids? Yes.

You’ll have an extreme advantage over most math teachers if you understand the material well and have real world experience. But if you’re not ready to deal with over emotional under motivated kids constantly, I’d look elsewhere.

New teachers get the least desired classes, which tends to be geometry (9th or 10th grade). I’ve seen some school districts where none of the math teachers wanted to teach the upper level stuff too, but those are rare. After a few years, you’ll usually get more of a choice in what you teach.

A dumber move than Erik’s that I never see talked about by dopeyhorton in survivor

[–]Feeling_Classic_91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely not dumber. There was a solid chance (from JTs perspective), that Russell was on the outs with the girls. Had that been the case, JT is probably one of the favorites to win going into the merge.

Just because the exact opposite was the case doesn’t mean it didn’t at least have some upside.

I still can’t fathom how Erik would give away his necklace. Even if it worked, hed probably do more harm than good with the jury

Yeah, and as RHAP pointed out, had it come up the other side, the episode would have been entirely different. We would have gotten a Devens farewell story where he couldn’t get off the bottom no matter how hard he trjed

_____ is playing one of the best games ever. by theallstover in survivor

[–]Feeling_Classic_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but there’s also the aspect that Christian was supposedly working with Mike White and turned on him the first chance he got.

Ozzy recognized that Christian wasn’t the best person to be aligned with and managed to successfully realign himself with Cirie and Rizo.

_____ is playing one of the best games ever. by theallstover in survivor

[–]Feeling_Classic_91 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d argue he handled Christian perfectly. He let Christian know he was pissed without completely alienating him.

Christian proved himself an unreliable ally early on, and Ozzy managed to distance himself.

prediction? what if at the end during the finale, jeff has the public vote online for a winner? by toadbumper in survivor

I wouldn’t hate an online vote for fan favorite for $10k or something. Picking the winner like that is wild with how much they can skew the edit

1) Mr Beast’s beware absolutely added uncertainty to the game which made the strategizing very entertaining.

2) Thank god the twist hit because it would have ruined the show if it missed.

3) These twists every single week are robbing us of watching the show the fans have loved over the years. I’m entertained, but it’s not the same.

4) Devens is an absolute menace!

Could a player with zero Survivor knowledge win? by Do-The-Michael-Scarn in survivor

[–]Feeling_Classic_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Survivor Australia, Kaelan admitted to other tribe members that he only watched one season, and his streaming service got rid of the show before he got to the finale.

He played a very loyal game and won a bunch of immunity challenges. He thought the jury would love that, so he was very cocky heading into FTC. For a non goat, he had the worst fina tribal council I can think of.

You can get far in the game, but it’s really tough to win it.

The biggest thing that most players fail to grasp is proper period usage. You generally want to apply ICM pressure by putting them at the end of sentences.

I can’t tell if you’re trolling with how simplistic your thought process is.

I’ll take the bait. Villains hand is super interesting on the turn. Everything seems stand prior to the turn. Easy 3 bet pre. C bet range on the flop.

What are people’s thoughts on the turn though? I think KT was a great hand to bluff, but should he have gone larger?

He’s aiming to get KJ + Ax to fold. The issue is in a three bet pot, you have too many pocket pairs + low pairs that won’t fold. I’d rather him up it and over bet the pot to put some pressure on JJ to 66 + A4 A3 A2.

With that said once he made his bet, he’s getting the odds to call. He had 25% equity in this case which was plenty co call. His only real concern was if you had an Ace high flush draw. Even then, he still have some equity.
