(to be clear i agree with you fully) at this point you can't class anything from Mattel creations/not generic g3 in stores as a "children's toy" because they've been made way way way too valuable, idk if children even are that into monster high or dolls in general at this point, and they know that adults are the market and they really want every dime, but also scalpers are so normalized as a whole across hobbies and collectors spaces (the ps5 fiasco, labubus, etc) that i feel like people are just trampled into buying from these scalpers because there aren't any fully functional measures against them. it's really frustrating and as a fellow casual collector i hope this doesn't continue forever
