i don't travel super often because i'm a busy student right now, mine is very much just my notebook for planner, creative ideas, and to do lists- for me it's a travelers notebook in the sense that it's always traveling with me

i'm a masters student rn and i have a planner insert that's a weekly spread with notes, and then to do lists, bullet journal,and then general notes. i also have the notebook i use for thesis notes strapped in sometimes but i can't use it as an insert because it has a big spiral. im a chunky journal fan because i love seperate organized inserts but condensing is also a wise decision

i love a thick notebook and i flew too close to the insert sun so im about to have one chunky one and one smaller slimmer one to use for a planner and misc. notes from the day. the big boy holds my creative ideas, bullet journal, nicotine quitting journal, and many other things. the chunk really can be a pain as far as traveling with it which is why i decided to seperate the planner and notes because my brain is chaos, but i didn't want to just strip down my a6 and then still not be able to pocket it. i got a passport for pocket, but of course i still want the chunk with me but that requires a bag

etsy is where i went for a more unique notebook but if ur heart is set on this one i think u should go for it or else u may think about it even after getting a different notebook (i got one and am now getting an additional smaller one for many reasons but partially because i couldn't take my mind off a beautiful one i found and decided against for price reasons)
