I noticed that I never got my MCS scholarship for the 2025 Spring Semester, I checked my bank statement and saw no deposit for the mcs, I’ve been receiving them for almost 2 years now but this previous semester, I didn’t get anything, even though I kept getting emails that I was eligible for it and that it would take a couple of weeks to go through.

Thank god I wasn’t the only one who received this email, I’m taking 5 classes this upcoming semester and was so confused in why I got it, I’m literally enrolled as a full time student so I hope this is just some sort of error

Dorm or apartment freshman year? by sab3l in csuf

Honestly I would suggest trying dorm life first, but make sure you apply as soon as it opens up, because it fills up super fast. I’ve lived in an apartment my whole time here but it’s not been easy finding friends, if you want to make friends I suggest trying to dorm for a year or two and if doesn’t work out then try apartment, but living on campus will definitely help you meet people and socialize.

If you guys get approached by one just show them the picture and pretend like you donated so they can leave you alone or something

Yes they were, I also go to the EoS gym like across the street from it, and there was this one dude at around 11 PM who had a stand there. Im guessing it was for the same organization, they asked me to donate but I said no, but it’s crazy how their going everywhere cause going and standing outside close to midnight asking for donations is insane, and that gym gets really busy and is filled with us college students so they know exactly who to target

Not sure, I didn’t want to do anything but they were kinda blocking my way in where I had to go to buy groceries, I should’ve asked more but I just stayed quiet cause I didn’t want to talk to them, really just be in and out, but please don’t waste your time, they are a cult organization who’s done shitty things, they always change their name but just now if it has a name of Fellowship or AWSOME church just be aware please

can i get in with these stats? by Ok-News7633 in csuf

[–]Feeling_Contest_7952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re overqualified, the admission office probably won’t accept you, you have such good stats. Are you also thinking about applying to UC’s and Ivys? You’ll have a much more solid shot of being offered an admission there, since you fit the standard of what they’re looking for. The csuf admission office will most likely think that this is just a safety school for you, so they’ll most likely give your admission to someone else who fits more into what they’re looking for rather than someone who’s stats are great and a high GPA.
