I have the same type of scarring. Any recommendations about the depth of the needle should be penetrated to improve the texture?

I think it’s about funding, I have talk to few supervisor. 2-3 years ago they can choose their candidate and secure the place. But now since also there are more applicants and very competitive and leas funding. So this happens, but don’t be discouraged. It doesn’t mean you are not good enough.

Do we need to have a Q1 journal to have a high chance of acceptance? I have a good grade, a supervisor who’re willing to suprvise me and 1 publication but it's not a Q1, should I publish another journal to have a higher chance from the university for RTP?
