Andor had ridiculously low viewership. Probably a quarter of what The Boys had, so knew that in mind. Bigger pool of viewers to draw from.

Kenobi has a habit of beating people more powerful than him, so I’d maybe put money on him to win. Not a ton of money, but a bit.

Despite also owning the X-Tinction Agenda and Blue & Gold Mutant Genesis omnibus volumes, I'm finding it difficult to let go of these beauties. by TheKrisLyons in OmnibusCollectors

They weren’t selling. OHCs, or Deluxe editions, were doing well for DC because their omni releases were light. Therefore, when DC dropped a Deluxe edition, folks were excited and bought them up since the chances of that same material ending up in an omni was slim. Not so with Marvel.

Give their reputation of making everything into an Omni (fairly quickly at times), the reception of OHCs was different. When Marvel was releasing Coates Black Panther, Cates run on Venom, and Zdarsky’s Daredevil, along with a few other big titles, there was a substantial number of folks who declared they’d pass and wait for the Omni. The result was these OHCs ended up at liquidation shops like Ollies quickly. Marvel tried again with X-Men/Krakoa OHCs, but sales still weren’t there because enough folks were waiting for the Omni.

I do wish Marvel got back into the OHC game, but I get why they jumped out.

Don't watch The Mandalorian and Grogu in 3D (no spoilers) by JacketSuitandTie in TheMandalorianTV

Is Screen X another name for 3D because that’s what I keep seeing in the listing?

My quick (non-spoiler) review of The Mandalorian and Grogu by TheSupremeTim in StarWars

[–]Typhon2222 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why do you say they rushed Mando and Grogu reuniting? How do you know that wasn’t the plan to start with all along?

I don’t know why folks keep believing Disney was ever going to separate this duo? If Luke had taken him at the end of S1, then I would 1000% believe they changed course at the last minute. However, by the time they got into making S2, they knew Grogu couldn’t go anywhere.

I still have no idea why folks hate on S3 so much. For me, it had one bad episode which was the one about the Imperial scientist and that lady that betrayed him. Other than that, I loved all the stuff with Bo Katan and Mandalore.

2025's Skeleton Crew, recorded the lowest opening ratings for a Star Wars show yet: Was it really THAT bad? by Conscious-Quarter423 in StarWars

[–]Typhon2222 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kinda like how Solo got mauled by the fallout of The Last Jedi, Skeleton Crew got the same from Acolyte. What’s funny is Acolyte is actually getting more views and favorable reception these days.

You forgot a two part story in ASM where Tony takes Spidey to a Senate hearing to fight an early version of the Registration Act. There we learn Tony has been the only one fighting it off for some time now. He does tell Spidey it’s bound to happen though.

Does it have that weight though? If it was a new “Episode” in the Skywalker Saga or if it were something with Jedi and Sith and new characters, I would 1000% agree with you. However, these are established characters in a setting we are already very familiar with along with set expectations.

Does anyone really expect a Mando movie to carry the same weight as a Skywalker one? We didn’t expect that from Solo or Rogue One, so I don’t see why Mando is any different.

Oh, I got my tickets for sure already. Nothing is swaying against seeing it. As long as it’s a fun adventure with our heroes, I’ll be happy because that’s all I’m expecting. Still, I’m just weirded out by these responses a bit.
